I agree. I miss this Pamela Barnes compared to the online version of Pamela Barnes that my friend writes. This Pamela Barnes is ruthless, she is bold, she is strong, she is a host of things. But the online version of Pamela that my friend writes is nothing like this woman. She is weak, vulnerable, definitely not the same person.
Season 3 sealed this show's fate: too much focus on the horrible Ryland family. Nobody cared about them. They should have kept the focus on the Ewings.
They love each other but their relationship is not above using each other for personal gains. It is super conflicted and layered. They're soul mates but they will make each other suffer. A LOT.
I understand that you have concerns there, but better they use each other for personal gains rather than get other people involved. It's why they got married in the first place, so they can lean on each other.
I love these two!! I am actually pissed about what he did with Emma, I mean I was wincing the entire time!! GROSS!!! The worst part was how excited Pam was about their life together & meanwhile he was sexing up the town's trash!! Aaaagh!!
That was not John Ross's fault. That was the writer's fault. The writers just did not do a very good job with the relationships. They didn't allow them to grow. Like they made John Ross a cheater, that was stupid. They made Emma his mistress. Even dumber, so like I said the writers did not do a very good job of establishing the relationships. The writers did a lot of things wrong. Plus Elena, and Christopher had to be the most unattractive, boring couple on the show. But everybody loved John Ross and Pamela because they were good together, and they would have CRUSHED Christopher and Elena if they had went up against them. They were a very good looking couple, they were a very powerful couple as well, and they both were ruthless, smart, and so on. But the writers messed everything up, and that's not right. Then they made John Ross weak in Season 2. Overall, the TNT series was very good, but it made a NUMBER of mistakes. They messed up Cliff Barnes character as well.
@@derekmathews1818 The TNT show ruined Cliff Barnes' character as he would never kill his own grandbabies. And Pamela Barnes is a legacy character and should have been treated as such. She should have been the female lead not Elena and Emma.
