Dilos alt attack is more of a detriment in some cases, it’s slower than the regular bite and kills your momentum. Not the safest option when fighting raptors too since it gives them the opportunity to pounce you if they’re smart enough

Poision is a defensive weapon, usually on the skin of creatures that poisions predators or any creature that bites the animal or eats the poison
Venom on the other hand is an offensive weapon, used by predators when THEY bite or attack prey, venom usually comes from teeth or fangs or some other sharp pokey part of an animal. This goes into an animal’s bloodstream when attacked.
I probably didn’t explain that 100% scientifically exact but hope it makes sense lol.

If it bites you and you get sick it’s venomous.
