Manami bsn Same, I watched it a few years ago thinking “Wow this is so damn cute!” I tried rewatching the other day and I just.. could barely get through one episode. Yikes. That acting... especially male lead’s.... it’s like he just wants to say his lines and get outta there, isn’t he an idol? Idols usually aren’t uhm... the best at acting, to say the least. I’m not that into Kpop so idk idols and singers, I’m just big on Korean dramas/movies and the actors. >_< But honestly I was never a fan of Park Shin Hye (?) either, she’s... okay at the comedic scenes, but when it comes to serious or romantic scenes, she’s very bland at portraying emotions. She’s the same in another show I watched, just kinda.... bland when things get serious. It’s a good drama for newbies though, lol.
In the con trast, i feel this drama is suitable for young generation. It is not too romatic and affective. I am not specialized in film review or evaluation, but i think it is good 😊

It's probably because her character plays a demure and quiet-ish role in the drama. You can't expect her to be overflowing with character and boldness when she's playing '규원'.
