With some of the members leaving Seirin's team for reasons that I will not say because spoilers, there will be no next year for them, and MAN DOES THAT HURT. Sometimes, the most effective emotional plot point in a sports anime isn't the fact that it's the last chance for the 3rd years before they graduate, but the fact that due to personal circumstances that will prevent them from playing together in the future, younger team members only have this one chance to play and win. That's one of the reasons why I will always admire and view KNB as one of my favourite series ever.
Uh Seirin only has 2nd years and 1st years. However, SPOILERS Teppei won’t be able to play next year because of his surgery/injury and Kagami will be leaving Seirin to join the NBA. For Rakuzan, the only 3rd year on their team I believe is Chihiro so I can see what you mean. There’s also other teams like Kaijo with Kasamatsu, Touou with Imayoshi, Shutoku with Miyaji and Otsubo, and etc.

I have been watching this with my brother recently. We stopped before Season 3 aired, and we NOW just picked it back up. We kept replaying this specific part SEVERAL TIMES. The way the boys just roll out one by one is SO good Lololol.

Also I’ m suprised no one mentioned the fact that Rakusan has white clothes while Seirin has black clothes which means that the teams are the opposite of each other like akashi is the opposite of kuroko etc.

I love hot the frst ones to properly appear on screen are Hyuga, Kyoshi and Izuku since they're the "oldest" main players in the team, they're the ones who sustained Seirin while in his worth days, and without them, Kagami and Kuroko woudln't have gotten so far. It's nice to see them being recognized as the pillars they are
I think you've got Akashi confused with Kise there, hard to argue that a guy capable of perfectly mimicking a group of miraculously gifted players doesn't have the greatest potential. He was so talented that he had to be written into his loss through injury.

At first i was hesitant on this anime due to Haikyuu being so good and i had recently been dissapointed in a badminton anime. BUT THIS. I love every character in this and i love the conflict with Akashi's 2 selfs.

Like Imayoshi said, “the strong don’t always win, the winners are strong” Teppei, Hyūga, Izuki, Kagami and Kuroko may be weaker than the UKs, Mayazumi and Akashi but as a team they’re formidable
I agree with imayoshis statement in real life, but this is fiction and can go however the author wants. How Seirin won was so unconvincing to say they are the stronger team. Magic friendship stamina rejuvenation ftw.
