I own SP 125 -
1. Mileage - 60-65, 70 if always drive in economy but little unpracticle.
2. Very light bike, maneuvering is easy, can easily flow through traffic. Got good enough torque for city ride.
3. Build Quality, really decent. Only problem getting little rust in exhaust pipe and stands during rainy season.
3. Meter console, have every necessary details, and it accurate also, no false gear or anything like that.
4. Pretty decent torque for plain area. But in hilly area going to struggle if you have pillion. I would say for hilly area you would need more power than this.
5. Heating issue is there, Engine get quit heat up.
6. Braking is decent for Mid range speed, but in high speed it is unstable. Since it have very thin tyre.
7. Seating comfort is there for both pillion and rider. But gets tail bone pain after 100 km ride, may be my height (5.11 ft) is not ergonomically good for it. "It is still aching."
8. Suspensions is ok ok, but it is on stiffer side. You are going to feel bumps and pot holes.
9. Headlight. Ah just forget it.
10. Highway ride is also good, but liitle unstable in windy conditions, Got top speed 99 kmpl, I don't know if there is limiter or something.
11. Ground clearance is good enough, just never do high speeding in road breakers.
12. Almost zero Vibration till 60-70 speed after that it got some buzzyness, but that's not going to irritate you.
My final verdict -
For Daily commuting I don't think any other bike can beat it in practicality. I would say best choice in 125 CC segment. Only thing is you might feel lack of power in Hilly areas. Oh god! somebody would have told me that.

@@shamsulhussain8335 you will able to see the road, but in case if there is no street light or any other light source it will be very difficult to see if the road is good or bad like if there is potholes , obstacles, sometimes road braker, stones etc, only solution will be drive slow at that time around 30 kmpl.
Plus points of sp 125 :- it's gear positioning indicator , clutch ,gear box , LED headlight ,kill switch ,mileage ( I am getting around 60 now ) ,seat length !
Negative points :- tyres are narrow and
Weight is less ,so it really feels light in high speed and heavy wind or in highway ,also there is a fear of slipary in rainy tracks , slight heating issue in the engine as well .
Engine overall is good , pickup is good , suspension is ok ,drum breaks can be performed better ...
This is my experience of sp 125 after riding it for 2 months .
I suggest this bike is best for city ride for daily commute,with good fuel efficiency .and 50-60 is the ideal speed for this bike to ride . eventually it is quite comfortable as well !

I have changed rear tyre to 100/80 mrf, now stability is great. Also use 10w40 or 20w40 synthetic engine oil to reduce heating issue.. everything else is great
Ground clearance is low
Bro I have this SP125 , i would recommend you to drive it once when there is little extra wind, you will feel the vobling and instability. i am sharing this experience when there was a pilian with me.
Try settings the preload setting on the harder side .

Koi to bol rha tha ki 80 kmpl mast maje me mil jati h.
Using it for than 6 months. Awesome performance and mileage. I am getting 70+ kmpl. Just ride smoothly for better mileage. Extremely good for daily commute.
And for better stability upgrade the rear tyre to 90/90-18 bikes get more stable than before

Pulsar only has sportiness nothing else... I personally love SP 125 because of Smooth engine, Mileage etc.... Mileage matters with the increasement of petrol prices...

I also bought sp125 last month. 75 kmpl avaerage at 50-60 km/hr speed. One issue i faced is changing gears at very low speed. Gear will not changed when bike is at idle.
Bsdk main v sp ka fan hai but tu jo bol raha hai woh jhuth hai 75 km woh v 125 cc bike main koi v nahi deta . Jhuth mat bol

I am about to start my riding journey by purchasing my first bike. I am a person of very short and small stature and was particularly looking for something lightweight and super fun to ride. Mileage isn't on my checklist as I commute to work by office cab. I test drove SP 125, NS 125 , Raider 125 and Gixxer 150 naked. What I can tell by my little experience is that if you want something engaging, you should definitely choose Raider over the other two options. Would like to hear about your feedback on the same

I'm not a commuter fan, own a pulsar 150 but i like sp125. From 100 to 125cc i don't like any bike except sp. Features are good, quality is better than others, mileage is first class, also the pickup is pretty good. My height is 5'10, so not many bike suits me, but sp suits on me very well. Honda's reliability and refinement are bonus. Yeah i agree it's quite expensive but the overall package is good.

Rear tire is thinnest in segment and second worse handling after glamour x tech. And also Honda is no more as reliable as it was earlier known for, because I'm facing issues with the onset of monsoons. My dad used dream Neo for 7 years and that one was very reliable. For that trust we bought another Honda which costs much more, but facing issues 👎😔
I own this bike, have completed almost 1400km
Everything is good in this bike its just that it should have a wider tyre at the back and it becomes a little unstable at the highway when there is extra wind but if you weigh around 65-70kg then it will not affect you that much

I own Sp 125 2022 model. A very good bike with mileage of 75 km/litre. Upgrading the tyre to 90/90/18 will give better stability. Overall the performance of bike is awesome 🔥. Much recommended.

Honda is more durable then tvs and bajaj
The common problem I faced in new honda bikes is when you will suddenly shift down multiple gear the gears will some time stuck to neutral and the gear indicator will show -- and in heavy traffic it would be a pain in the ass... If you're a person who is like to do zig zag zoom in heavy traffic then you'll need the gear shifts real quick.... And you'll feel a lack of pickup in 1-2 gear specially when you're used to hero bikes which haves the best pick up in all 4 gears...

Koi bhi bike buri nhi hoti. Agar commuter segment mai Honda chahiye toh Sp lelo, agar commuter mai Indian brand chahiye toh Glamour le lo. Aur agar commuter plus sporty look chahiye toh Raider lelo.
Lekin pulsar 125 lena ka koi fayda nhi. Log 125cc bike jyadatar mileage aur regular kam k liye lete hain, plus light weight bhi hona chahiye. Pulsar mai ek bhi nhi hain. Bike acchi hai lekin 125cc segment ko justify nhi karte

Facing two problems with my SP125:
1. Key gets jammed in the lock with the onset of monsoons,resolved easily by the service center.
2. Design of fuel tank is very odd, water sips in during rain and already started rusting.

Are you facing any problems with the gearbox? Because sometimes I face the problem of false neutral, it gets stuck in the middle.

@@VivekTiwari-zy1vh yah I faced it earlier when the bike was new to me. Actually the gearshifts require proper effort, your have to press the gear lever more prominently than and not gently. Now my gears don't stuck, earlier it used to stuck between 3rd and 2nd

I've been riding my SP 125 for 8 months now. Everything is excellent with my bike apart from the fact that it has some issues while shifting from 3rd to 4th gear, as in it misses the 4th gear quite frequently. And this happens particularly while up-shifting from 3rd to 4th gear.
I wonder if it's the same case with all the SP 125 owners or it's just my bike that's facing this issue.

Ah Finally Someone with the same problem as me Using SP125 from 2020 have the same problem it would only not come for some months after servicing and then the shifting problem would be back 😭😭
I just bought one but my father has a shine 125 bought some months back, i faced that issue too. Thought it would go after sometime but it didn't and now for quite a time, i didn't get that problem so i bought a sp 125, i am getting the gear shifting problem from day 1 itself, also the digital meter just shows a dash when gear doesn't engage. I wonder if that is an issue with the new clutch or what.

Main problem with rear tyre. I bought this last year and same day I changed the rear tyre with broader tyre of Michelin. Company gave TVS tyres which were very slim now there is no issue of wobble. It cost me ₹900 extra because of after market.

In 125cc segment, if you want only mileage, go with SP125, if you want want mileage, comfort, durability, low maintenance at economical price, go with Super Splendor.

1. Engine over heating as compared to other 125cc bike
2. Poor paint quality.. rusting issue in 3-4 month

I own two bike one sp 125 2020 model same as this one 2nd 2004 pulsar 150(55km/l miealage) excellence in breaking and the sp125 very low quality breaking directly slip in rainy seasons no pickup after 50+ engine will make more noise than exhaust clutch is very very tight I would suggest u if u want a bike go get a pulsar 150 okay u choose any bike in India after 10 years the total expenses of pulsar would be only 60+thousand only
