They're instantly recognisable. If you showed me this new design and told me it was from some video game or a new vocaloid or something I'd believe you, it just doesn't look like her.
I like the new design if it would be someone else. I don't like how they completely changed Flower from a girl with a boyish look to a... Girl. I prefer the old one.
She literally looks like a Honkai Impact character, the only thing that is recognizable as Flower is the purple in the hair. If that wasn't there, we would have no idea who she was. Her eyes are even an entirely different color, they're blue instead of purple! The main issue is that she doesn't have the feel or look of either of her previous designs. Even when her more masculine design came out for V4, we still could look at her and say "That's definitely Flower, her outfit screams it!" but we can't do that here. It just doesn't look like her at all. I miss the androgynous feel of her V4, but that's not why I'm so hung up over her new design. You just can't tell it's her unless you look at the hair, and even that can take a second to click. First time I saw this design I saw her next to the other Flower designs and thought she was a game character that someone noticed had a lot of similarities to Flower's design and decided to make a comparison, because even with the hair I STILL couldn't tell it was Flower the first time I saw it.

The new design is washed out. It doesn't have much of Flower's personality in it. The new voice has the same problem. Its not bad,its just not the Flower we know. I usually think of it as Flower's cousin
