In reference to Adam’s Beat boxing talent, you should hear the Sea Shanty Medley. The last song in particular is just ONE of Adam’s greatest performances.
This song is done in a country reggae beat. It showcases the higher & lower ranges of both Tim Foust & Avi Kaplan (from PTX). That last note of Tim is impressive with how low he goes, but more impressive is how long he sustains the note. On the "Sing Off Show" that Home Free won in 2013 Tim goes even lower on this song "Ring Of Fire" & he impressed the judges so much that they gave them a standing ovation. And Adam Rupp once again was stellar in his vocal percussion.
Totally epic!!!! The incredible amount of material they have released over the last 7 to 8 years plus is totally incredible!!!! Don't know any other band of any genre that has released this much material and at the quality level they keep presenting. So impressed with Home Free!!!! Their talent level allows them so many different directions at a superb level!!! The capability of excellence by each of the individuals in this group is off the charts awesome that allows them the flexibility to do so many types of vocalizations and to do it exceptionally well. I have not found a genre they are afraid to tackle whether individually or as a group they are amazing. Then top that off with their arrangements that augment the presentation to be "Home Free" owned. ❣
Home Free is my favorite group. Austin's high tenor and Tim's low voice. At the last part of the song Tim's went low. Adam's beatboxing is great he is the best. Avi was good at bass. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is such an awesome song. These guys are so extremely talented. They call their beat boxer Adam "The Freak of Nature". He is so very good. As a beat boxer yourself I am sure you know how good he is. Love your reaction!
To really get Home Free and the genius of Adam, you need to check out Man of Constant Sorrow and his "harmanica" and mouth harp. Oh and the diggerido. It insane!
Mr. Avi Kaplan has been a solo artist since 2017. He has produced EP's and full albums. He and his traveling band will begin touring the US on May 17. The tail end of his tour will be in Europe. Avi likes small venues and a relaxed touring schedule
Great reaction.... I think the next one you should try is "Elvira" with oak ridge boys..... I am really enjoying your reactions to Home free and the journey is Fire.... lol
This one is still an audience favourite and there are lots of live videos of them singing it - Tim actuall goes waayyy sub-harmonic in the live videos. Avi also does cameos in their video of Tim's original "Champagne Taste". 3 of them (Tim, Austin & Chance) are song writers so there are lots of originals. BTW, watch "9-5 + beatboxing breakdown" !
If you like this version they have a newer version with chance it. And if you want to check out Adam Chance has a new video dropping tomorrow on his solo channel.
Adam Rupp I see more as a Vocal Percussionist, rather than a Beatboxer - he’s there to accentuate the vocals. Whereas a Beatboxer is pretty much the main act. But the crossover due to the techniques required to make the sounds is undeniable. I’d suggest something like Sea Shanty Medley, where he makes a castanets sound to suite the vibe of the song, but doesn’t dominate with percussion. I believe his less is more approach is what adheres him to the Home Free community. Really enjoying your reactions & your passion, keep up the great work.

Thanks for doing this one and having fun with it.
Great reaction and analysis. Adam always amazes me with his accuracy
Best a cappella group out there. You should try their cover of Listen to the Music for an Adam Rupp percussion showcase. Or Elvira. Fabulous.
I found Home Free with this song. I love bass voices. Geoff Castellucci, Tim Foust, and Avi Kaplan. Not forgetting The Bass Gang.
Love The Bass Gang!❤
This showcases both Avi Kaplan and Tim Foust's range and control.
Enjoyed your reaction and commentary, thank you!

Home Free did this on the Sing Off and Tim actually sings lower than he does here.
In addition to the songs recommended by others on which Adam shines, his work also stands out in their cover of Seven Bridges Road (the Eagles).

Good reaction.
I suggest their cover of "Elvira feat. The Oakridge Boys". Great vibes & percussion. Adam said he almost passed out doing that song.
🔥
