As usual, one of the best video series (if not the absolute best) on the web on the tips and tricks in bringing these cars back to life. Kudos sir. Well done!
GOD!!!!! I can not figure out what works, and what doesn't. I spent all day today trying to make some since of all the gibberish that is in my head and falls out of my mouth. I almost deleted this video because I thought (feared) I would come off as pretentious and more grumpy then normal. Lots of people write me, and ask if I am really that grumpy. "no I am not, I am just trying so hard to simplify the process and not lose people on a process". When was teaching (a million years ago) folks would ask if I was mad. "Gee wiz no! I just really care about helping with what little I know".
I'd like to make the AROC meeting out west this year. ( having never visited the Pacific northwest) If I can get my GT running, maybe I'll ship it out there for you to look at. Recently I have reinstalled the 1600 and have now found that the starter solenoid is not working. It looks as if I will be removing the carbs to see about getting to the starter. It's got power getting to it. Mystery non-function. Hey man, thanks for your videos; as a fellow Alfista, they are a treat. Do you share your facility with Wes Ingram?
Wes and I talk two or three times a week. But I moved the shop to south of Seattle a few years ago as to be closer to home. With that said you really should come out for the convention.
Man, ... we try. Believe it or not this was really, really bad series of filming. I started with four hours of film, and most it was so bad I could not use it. HOWEVER!!! we have a new, pro series camera being set up and programmed in New York right now for us. With better sound and lighting and image quality.
Everything is fine, beleave me! I've learned so much now, that I'm considering to look for a new Giulia project, to make some things better as my last Giulia! ;-)
Good stuff Daron. Pre-paint door panel work, PDR, and or any bodywork for that matter is a fine craft and takes years to master. I don't think people appreciate what an art is until it's done wrong in the beginning. I cant understand why anyone would pump expanding foam into any car body?
Actually you did a fantastic job..... Hey I'm not focusing on your speech impediment. Since you mentioned it.... Be kind to our TI. Learned a lot too. Lol
PL !!!! send me a email with your shirt size and address. we have a collection of prints coming soon and I want make sure your first in line buddy. Oh! find your way to Seattle so the wife and I can take you and your loved one to dinner one day
WOW !! I wish i had a friend like this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had a '67 TI that well and truly rusted out sills and floors.

That was great. Door alignment is a dark art.
