Benni is the GOAT. People need to remember all these deadlift records people are breaking recently is the EQUIPPED deadlift record. Benni has held the RAW deadlift record for nearly ten years, and no one is close. The real record. Plus he pulled the 1015 like it was 500 pounds, basically stiff legged the top, held it, then set it back down gently. instead of dropping it like literally every single other deadlift record that’s been broken. Magnusson is the John Brzenk of deadlift.

The whole "event" was set up for Eddie with perfect timed breaks for him (Jerry waited 45 minutes, what a lack of respect) and Eddie decided the weight jumps. Plus he only did the deadlift. So please tell the difference to Thor. And btw Thors plates were calibrated, compared to Eddies😉
Benny's mixed grip 460kg is something which neither Hall or Thor or any of these guys could do....thats the most impressive record out there!!

Benni's strapless lift will always be superior to any equipped lift. Grip strength for days where others fail to pull 400kg.
Just missing Makarov's 490 pull and the recent 430 masters WR. I know everybody is prasing Benni's raw lift, but Rauno is a freaking beast too...

His record will eventually be broken by a sumo lifter... and so it does the all time record... and that makes a whole of sadness in my heart
