My home state is amazing. Shiloh is beautiful and scary. Been there 10 times and it never gets old. Found family that actually fought there in the Hornets nest and survived. Proud of them . The word Courage is used too loosely. They were courageous.

I really enjoyed this video! I have never been to a major Civil War Battlefield before and this one looks awesome! I could spend the whole day there. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

+Life Adventures with Eric and Melissa Thank you! We really like history and the Civil war was such a tragic time in America's history! The canon firing that day was deafening! I can't imagine more shooting off in battle! The National Cemetery was hauntingly beautiful. A wonderful remembrance...
      Thanks for watching!

+potatothorn thank you! We love eagles! It was neat to stand and watch for a few minutes. Nice break from reading monuments. 😀

In this modern day era to destroy anything Confederate, I am just appalled...These men were Americans and they died.....The statues are beautiful at Shiloh...all of them...The Tennessee monument is my favorite..

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We enjoyed our time here and want to return. We grew up in Tennessee and would not want to see this place destroyed.

Civil War memories and lessons should never be forgotten. Why the fight occured in the first place. How America became a better nation because of it..

Thanks for this tour! We live near 4 battlefields and visit them often. Interesting that Grant was at Shiloh and then later ended up here in Virginia at Wilderness and Spotsylvania Courthouse just two years later - just 5 minutes from our house.

Grant was a smart and well-trained General. He seemed to be "everywhere" all at once. I think he just knew where it was most important to be. ;-)
      Thanks for watching!
