They're selling these for like 5 bucks at restaurants near me for 1 taco. That's absolutely insane considering I can get 4 tacos with sauce at authentic mexican places near me for like 7-10 bucks. These fast food prices have gotten out of hand.
These outdoor reviews are always a treat; the nature sounds in the background add a lot to the comforting, enjoyable experience that these videos provide.

Yeah, because this youtuber has a brain and can read. "Grilled cheese dipping taco" does not mean, "birria". Yet every other youtuber is calling it a birria taco. It's nothing like it at all. I'm so annoyed about because I was so excited when I first saw UA-camrs making reviews on them. Then, I go to Taco bell, see that it doesn't say birria anywhere, try it, and completely disappointed.

I tried this the other day and was wondering to myself “what would report of the week think?”. So I live in California. The taco came with twice as much cheese on the outside. Also came with the sauce and nacho cheese sauce. I thought it was pretty good for Taco Bell. But living here in California, it’s tough because I have access to incredible Mexican food everywhere.

I think what most people are missing is that this is Taco Bell debuting a new meat for the first time in literal years. I hope they keep this meat/make other items with it. Because this could be very good on chips or a quesadilla
I work at TB and although I haven't tried this taco yet, I tried the shredded beef on a quesadilla and it was soooo good. Definitely better than the other options (I tired of those quickly after starting there lol).
Not even a taco, its just a tortilla with cheese and bits of shredded beef that you have to smother in sauce for flavor. Its like a backwards way of serving nachos.

Just as Bill Haley waited for years for his Comet to arrive....Reviewbrah knew The Big Dipping Taco was coming to our Universe...and when he completed the review with a strong preference of red big dipper sauce over not your cheese sauce (described as warm) I knew it was time to Rock Around The Clock....also the important words learned in this fine edition include ravenous, disheveled (my favorite from this review), receptacles, accentuate (twice!), and traversed. My day has brightened and my vocabulary has yet again...improved.

I love the way you do these videos. It's like a Millennial/Gen Z was teleported back in time to the Edwardian era - early 1940s. Then was sent back to our time and forgot how good our food was and started reviewing food so that future time travelers would know this is a legit source for food reviews. Keep it up, my good man.
It's funny...your reaction to the red sauce. I love it on my burritos so I always order red sauce on my soft tacos. Glad to see them implementing it with this meal.
@@photoobject actually, the red sauce is not one of the packet sauces that they offer. It's a sauce they use back in the kitchen for their burritos and enchirtios.
My fave thing they've come up with in years was the Cantina Taco with the crispy white corn shell. But this, I thought that this was very good. Even on its own, no sauce. I got some of the spicy jalapeno ranch on the side and it's great. I'm not sure which I like better from Taco Bell, their jalapeno ranch sauce or their chipotle sauce. The red sauce was ok, but I like the other sauces I mentioned better. But yep, this "birria style" taco is clearly in the top 5 of "new items" over the past 4-5 years or so.

Tried them ourselves and liked them a lot. My take is that these are Taco Bell's attempt at queso birria tacos that have been growing in popularity north of the border recently. On the other hand, we live in the southwest US and have easy access to more authentic and more delicious queso birria tacos at similar prices.
Nonono. Mcdoogle is another level. Haven't you figured that out yet. Mcdoogles used to be my favourite until they put the wonderful wapper on the menu, so to answet your question big mic is a slightly weaker little version of mcdoogles. Some call them mcdoogles little brother
I really enjoyed this item. I get it with spicy ranch since I don't like the red sauce and the cheese sauce seems a lil overkill w all the other cheese. I do wish the meat was a bit spicier but I think it's way better than the ground beef and the steak. it's a bit pricey for what it is but it does come with two sauces (which are like 50 cents each) so I guess that makes sense. Next time I want to add the shredded beef to the nachos (w no ground beef, change refried to black beans).

I just had this last night and was actually thoroughly impressed I absolutely adore Taco Bell’s nacho cheese it’s one of my favorite things from them however the red sauce in this case is 100% the way to go it gives it so much more flavor and adds moisture to the beef and all it is the their regular red sauce they put in their burritos not like a special sauce or anything but does very well with the taco I got the box as well and I definitely think the box is the better deal because for 5 bucks more u get a 5 layer burrito a chalupa chips with nachos cheese the dipping taco and a medium drink because 3.50 for the taco alone is kinda pricey
I've got it twice, the first time I got it, it was spectacularly made. Not greasy, perfect amount of beef to cheese ratio, and dipped fine. The second time I got it, it was very greasy and was almost unable to grab. I don't know if I'd agree with the flavor aspect, mine was perfectly fine flavor-wise. At my location it's like $3.50 for this, and I tried it with the regular sauces and it was fine, but the second time I swapped the nacho cheese for avocado ranch sauce (my favorite) and it was very nice. A little pricey, but I do like the shredded beef and I hope they incorporate that shredded beef as a swap option for burritos and tacos in the future too. I'd personally rate it an 8.5/10. One of the better items I've had from TB recently. This also makes me wildly miss the shredded chicken burritos.
Honestly, it never bothered my stomach or really made me regret it personally. It's not the best food but I don't expect that for fast food. It's pretty cheap, filling, and good
Probably the best thing I've had from taco bell. The beef tastes a lot like the standard ground beef, just a different texture but it's still worth it.

I like your outside reviews and the birds chirping in approval of your thoughts on the Taco Bell New Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco. Your review is great as always but now onto my thoughts about Taco Bell. I have not been to a Taco Bell in a very long time because they have become the definition of "Greedflation". Looking at that Taco and knowing you have to pay almost $4.00 for something that doesn't look worth more than $1.00 is why Taco Bell might forever be off my list. They must have a New CEO that needs to pay off his mansion and new boats with the prices that have the guts to charge for all their items. Let's face it Taco Bell does not have the freshest tasting food in the Taco World. Well at least you somehow got the best of Taco Bell in getting the Deluxe Box for the price of just 1 Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco and that makes me feel a lot better. You sure deserve the break. When I heard him say "you can dip a taco into a liquid you can consume" my jaw literally unhinged itself and walked away into the void and quite frankly I didn't know what to make of that. So there I was left saying to myself "well it is what it is" and I was shook.

As a Taco Bell Manager I can confirm the taco by itself is mid however the red sauce makes it quite good. The price still makes it kind of ridiculous though

It would seem this is Taco Bell's very very very watered down take on quesabirria tacos. I wouldn't get this if I was craving the real deal, but I guess if I was wasted at midnight I'd give it a go.

I tried these and the idea of dipping is so revolutionary, I was so confused, I just ended up pouring some of the sauce in my mouth every time I took a bite. 10\10 would highly recommended
I genuinely believe that all fast food establishments within a 20 mile radius from this dude are on high alert. Marketing departments are on fire, glazed with anticipation.
This is a very Taco Bell take on birria tacos and I’m glad to see they’re changing it up with their menu. As far as actual quality, it doesn’t seem to be worth the price but I look forward to trying it soon anyhow
The thing about it is the shredded beef is ok. But holy cow is the sauce that goes inside with it is awesome. This should be 2.50 though and don't even need the shredded beef.

It was good but too expensive in my opinion. I think the previous promotion of the Volcano Taco was better. I was probably getting one at least 5 or 6 days a week. Sometimes more than once in a day.

Probably 10 - 15 years or so ago, Taco Bell had taquitos that you could dip. There were at least three sauces that included a salsa, a nacho cheese, and a sour cream but can't remember. I always bought the salsa. I loved those. I might have to give these a try. Won't be nearly as cost efficient though.
I enjoyed the new grilled cheese dipping taco when I tried it last week. I saw it advertised in the national commercials at $3.49; however here in Las Vegas it's $3.89. Seems a bit expensive to me. Wish they would have done like 2 of these tacos in a box with a drink for a better price. For sixty cents more I can get the grilled cheese burrito which at least seems reasonably filling.

This is supposed to be Taco Bell’s version of a birria taco which is a shredded beef taco that you dip in a consommé sauce made of chiles. I actually like the taco itself but that red sauce is not good. I’m actually thinking of buying the taco from Taco Bell and the consommé from a birrieria. THAT would be good eats! 🌮😋
The problem with the Bell is they just rework how the same limited number of ingredients are combined so it costs them less to make, then call it "new and improved", and charge people more for it.

You can substitute seemingly any 2 sauces or sour cream for dipping.

It’s an entirely screened in patio around the pool.. pretty common with Cal. & Florida homes (and others).
birria tacos are really good, also did it before taco bell. You dip them in juice that they were made in and its absolutely amazing! you should try it

The shredded beef is just their normal taco bell filet mignon that they chop up in a mixer.

I just had this last night and was actually thoroughly impressed I absolutely adore Taco Bell’s nacho cheese it’s one of my favorite things from them however the red sauce in this case is 100% the way to go it gives it so much more flavor and adds moisture to the beef and all it is the their regular red sauce they put in their burritos not like a special sauce or anything but does very well with the taco I got the box as well and I definitely think the box is the better deal because for 5 bucks more u get a 5 layer burrito a chalupa chips with nachos cheese the dipping taco and a medium drink because 3.50 for the taco alone is kinda pricey

thanks for keeping up the channel and still being the food reviewer for the everyman. One of the few food reviews I trust wasn't paid for is yours!
I've got it twice, the first time I got it, it was spectacularly made. Not greasy, perfect amount of beef to cheese ratio, and dipped fine. The second time I got it, it was very greasy and was almost unable to grab. I don't know if I'd agree with the flavor aspect, mine was perfectly fine flavor-wise. At my location it's like $3.50 for this, and I tried it with the regular sauces and it was fine, but the second time I swapped the nacho cheese for avocado ranch sauce (my favorite) and it was very nice. A little pricey, but I do like the shredded beef and I hope they incorporate that shredded beef as a swap option for burritos and tacos in the future too.
I'd personally rate it an 8.5/10. One of the better items I've had from TB recently.
This also makes me wildly miss the shredded chicken burritos.
I've been ticked with Taco Bell ever since they got rid of the shredded chicken. It was so much more flavorful than the tasteless crap they have now.

Taco Bell is basically the place to go when you just need something edible to put into your mouth. It's not great food, but it's certainly filling!
Honestly, it never bothered my stomach or really made me regret it personally. It's not the best food but I don't expect that for fast food. It's pretty cheap, filling, and good

Probably the best thing I've had from taco bell. The beef tastes a lot like the standard ground beef, just a different texture but it's still worth it.

I like your outside reviews and the birds chirping in approval of your thoughts on the Taco Bell New Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco. Your review is great as always but now onto my thoughts about Taco Bell. I have not been to a Taco Bell in a very long time because they have become the definition of "Greedflation". Looking at that Taco and knowing you have to pay almost $4.00 for something that doesn't look worth more than $1.00 is why Taco Bell might forever be off my list. They must have a New CEO that needs to pay off his mansion and new boats with the prices that have the guts to charge for all their items. Let's face it Taco Bell does not have the freshest tasting food in the Taco World. Well at least you somehow got the best of Taco Bell in getting the Deluxe Box for the price of just 1 Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco and that makes me feel a lot better. You sure deserve the break. As a Taco Bell Manager I can confirm the taco by itself is mid however the red sauce makes it quite good. The price still makes it kind of ridiculous though

This is a very Taco Bell take on birria tacos and I’m glad to see they’re changing it up with their menu. As far as actual quality, it doesn’t seem to be worth the price but I look forward to trying it soon anyhow
The thing about it is the shredded beef is ok. But holy cow is the sauce that goes inside with it is awesome. This should be 2.50 though and don't even need the shredded beef.

It was good but too expensive in my opinion. I think the previous promotion of the Volcano Taco was better. I was probably getting one at least 5 or 6 days a week. Sometimes more than once in a day.

Probably 10 - 15 years or so ago, Taco Bell had taquitos that you could dip. There were at least three sauces that included a salsa, a nacho cheese, and a sour cream but can't remember. I always bought the salsa. I loved those. I might have to give these a try. Won't be nearly as cost efficient though.
It is new for Taco Bell but Arbys has had the French Dip forever.

I enjoyed the new grilled cheese dipping taco when I tried it last week. I saw it advertised in the national commercials at $3.49; however here in Las Vegas it's $3.89. Seems a bit expensive to me. Wish they would have done like 2 of these tacos in a box with a drink for a better price. For sixty cents more I can get the grilled cheese burrito which at least seems reasonably filling.

This is supposed to be Taco Bell’s version of a birria taco which is a shredded beef taco that you dip in a consommé sauce made of chiles. I actually like the taco itself but that red sauce is not good. I’m actually thinking of buying the taco from Taco Bell and the consommé from a birrieria. THAT would be good eats! 🌮😋

The problem with the Bell is they just rework how the same limited number of ingredients are combined so it costs them less to make, then call it "new and improved", and charge people more for it.
Well, that's all fast food places. The Bell just has fewer ingredients.
