ABR was in the studio recording the album in February after having taken 3 months to write the album (according to an interview they gave). I would even say that Kidstreet's song might've gotten airtime before march because I think I saw the advert during the Superbowl or at least wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. I think it's probably just a case of two bands coming up with the same progression at a similar time.
