Nice video... We went to W VA. here recently and stayed at the Ashland Resort also. We had a good time on the Hatfield McCoy trails. We didn't ride much of the Outlaw trails do to some of the guys thought it was too rough. The Outlaw trails are more of my speed so Ill definitely be going back to ride them more.
Looks like so much fun! Reminds me of the days in the military driving the hummers in the desert! It's cool, you drive right up to lunch! Looks awesome fun! Thank goodness for winches! Great fun. New friend here, found you on @Camper Life. Nice to meet you. Great looking family. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
I know people like to ride these trails but as a kid growing up in the 80 s my brother and I blazed alot of the same trails as did friends and enemies alike did on dirt bikes , 125 quads,3 wheelers and such,so enjoy what we made in the hills back home and stop in Man and have some lunch and see where I grew up and visit every year to see friends and family, stop at Macs or Hardie's get some gravy and biscuits see my home and enjoy what the Hillbillies made for you and other's.
Enjoyed your video. We live in NC and stay at Ashland. By the looks of the video looks like you came in the back way. We come thru Bluefield to Northfork much easier with a toyhauler.
Got a 400 sportsman xr80r dirtbike &my family's 900xp highlifter and I'm pulling it with a tahoe on a 22ft open trailer would try to make it up there with that never been?
Next time maybe strap it down tighter to compress the suspension more making it sit lower in transport, maybe it will help with the sxs bouncing and doin more damage. Just a thought
@@TheNeuAdventure ahh didn't think of that 😂. I must say this video has really got me wanting to try those trails out one day, really enjoyed the video
I know I'm a bit late here but have you tried lowering the suspension down to lowest setting? I can lower my ranger about 2 1/2 inches doing this. It should have come with the tool to make the adjustments. Anyways thanks for sharing this with us. Looks like y'all had a great trip.
Awesome video i have the same machine im about to lift it 8 inches and run 37s u think it would be safe for our family to ride here exactly how ruff are the trails 1-10 thanks and i subscribed
+Jesse Strickland great questions! I feel like if you stick to the marked Hatfield/McCoy trails you will be fine. Most of those trails are a 5 or less difficulty. The Outlaw trails are at a 10 in some places, that’s what we were on in a lot of this video. I would recommend watching our danger on the outlaw trail video, we had some real life threatening situations. If you don’t have skid plates, you need them. Hope you have a blast!
I had some problems with them loosing the debeading and we changed them for some rocktanes and love them. I have made it everywhere I went with the outlaws

Thanks for watching! The Outlaws are definitely more challenging, and hard to map... be careful out there, and have fun!!!
Thanks, same to you!
Triad trail blazers forum has trail maps for a lot of the outlaw trails around there. Been using their maps for probably 4 or more years now.

Looks like fun. We r planning a trip next year there to go off-roading
+Stacie’s Country Cooking fun!! Make sure you get the ride command app to help navigate the trails :)

where was our invite? LOL
Prefer the Outlaws over the HMs. HM seemed like an amusement park, nicely graded & well marked trails.
Jeffrey Wydra we did too until the next day when a tree came up through the floor kitting my daughter. Make sure you have full skid plates
We've been riding outlaw trails there, leaving out from pinnacle creek, for 6 years or so. Love the outlaw trails!
There are some crazy trails out there!
