This formation is something that Xabi Alonso has absolutely cracked at Leverkusen.. the duo of frimpong and grimaldo down the flanks is perfect for counter-attacking playstyle, palacios and xhaka doing the job down the middle, passing the ball around and they've got centre backs like tah, hinacapie and kossonou which do the job at holding the defence.. something like this is absolutely needed for tactical play at chelsea to get back to where they belong
I actually got to 2035 in one of my rebuilds. I then played against Wigan in the final. I then realised that they picked up the regens of Messi, Ronaldo, modric, Thiago Silva and Neur. I have no idea how they did it
I love these rebuilds where you do it from the point of view of a manager switching clubs! Keep this kind of content up!!! Maybe something like “What if Sir Alex took over man Utd today” and try to play a 4-4-2 with focus on youth players or stuff like that
