      Many have invested in an apartment, which is stupid for so many reasons, and very few have even recouped that investment. Condos are being built at a staggering pace, which means the prices keeps dropping. Also maintenance isn't common in sea, and the poor workmanship means rebar exploding through the concrete which is rarely fixed before it's a major issue, which means it's expensive and you the homeowner is faced with a huge assessment. Rent is cheap in SEA, and renting leaves you free to move on when things start to leak and fall apart. Just RENT and invest in your own western country; you can thank me later.

    Best is to stay away from vn for business ventures. Everything too murky and gouvernement cannot be trusted. At your own risk. There are better places like Malaysia and Thailand.

      Vietnam is probably better than investing in the Philippines. All the issues you speak of are ten times worse if not a hundred times worse in the Philippines. That country is a black hole of money and opportunities.

    Thailand to me better than Vietnam when it comes to investment plus Thailand don’t need visa to enter plus they give you permanent residency if you invest there or married there unlike Vietnam even if you marry a woman from there ,they only give you 5 years residency.

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  18 днів тому

      True. However, Thai immigration does NOT give you any permanent residency based on investment or marriage. They will just give you an yearly extension of stay based on a Non-Imm O visa. Vietnam's immigration policy is two to three years at a time up to 10 years for investment. Thus, quite similar.
