Wanting to do a unique theme but then always falling back to the vibes of the current season/holiday.. I felt that so much🤣Love the calendar idea that you're incorporating though and also can't wait for the Totoro theme next month!! I've been wanting to do a Ghibli theme in my bujo or reading journal and I'm thinking I might go for a bird theme in honor of the Boy and the Heron☺ Also love hearing your thoughts and journey of reading BrandoSando!❤
@@katieisreading (not me replying three weeks later...) yes I'd highly recommend it!! Was definitely a fever dream and I had to look up a few explanation videos when I got home, but after being able to wrap my mind around what I just watched, I really did love it. Especially for existing Ghibli fans since it's kind of a celebration of all of Miyazaki's work!! (loved how your March reading journal turned out with the totoro stickers too🥰)
I love these monthly reset videos! Glad we got another for February! I have a few books on my TBR such as Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Fairies, Divine Rivals, and Promised in Fire! I think it’ll be a fun fantasy reading month.
Thank you for a lovely video. Enjoy your journaling content. That was a sweet wave from Winnie. Look forward to our book club reads!! Happy Reading!! ✨️
i hope you enjoy loveless! i read it in 2022 and i flew through it! it's so heartwarming! i can't wait to hear your opinion on a winter's promise. i feel like i've seen it everywhere but never actually seen anyone read it.
I’m reading House of Flame and Shadow now and it’s so good! It’s definitely better than the second book. I’m about halfway thru and Sarah has had me gagged a few times can’t even lie. Lol
I love doing themes for the different months! I wanted to do something different this February so I decided to make an anti-valentine’s day theme for my journal!
i feel like the mirror visitor quartet is such a hit or miss series and for me was an incredibly hit. it's true that it's kind of dense and confusing at times but i found the world really interesting and the romance (which is very VERY slow-burn) really well done. i read the last book back in 2022 and i still think about the ending all the time. also lovely video as always
I just started the audiobook for I Was Born For This...and I wasn't loving it. I'm going to try again later with it and probably read the physical book because the audio just wasn't it for me. I'm also trying to read everything Alice Oseman has out this year.
Love love love the vlog!! I have 3 books on my tbr, Empire of the vampire, Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, and the third vol of Heaven officials blessing. I don't know if I'll be able to get to all of them but I'm going to try my best. Also every time Winny comes on screen I wanna give her a hug, she's so cute!!!
Realllyyyy want to try A Winter's Promise and the rest of the series. Its such a thick series though, so I am anxious about committing haha. Also read Check & Mate this February, and it was good. Not fabulous like her other books, but I enjoyed it :)
For my reset for the new month I usually update my reading journal while watching some booktube and when I am done with that I usually read a graphic novel or two to prepare me for the up incoming tbr of the new month. I have been wanting to check out The Raven Boys series since I got the first two at my last library fair so will have to put that on my list to read soon.
I'm SO excited for the new Emily Wilde, but I have to wait one more week until I can order the UK hardback (ah, being an adult with BILLS...). I'm definitely going to be adding "Loveless" to my radar since, as a romantic-ace, I rarely see any books with MCs on the ace spectrum. But it will wait until after February, since I decided to make this month "Black Authors Month".
I really liked Mistborn Era 2- I think you’ll find those books to be quick reads. As for HOFAShadow I think your choice of audio is wise as Bryce tends to get insufferable at times 😂 so you can listen at fast speed 🌙👑⭐️
I really would like to have more on my tbr, but I have been in such a slump! I've been reading acowar for a solid month and i'm not the type of person to dnf a book! Is it worth it?
i read elantris in like 2018 and i will say i liked the story premise and it's a cool world, but i found it a little long winded and a tad boring at some points, but it still is really good! just keep your expecations at that maybe :)
I started reading Emily Wildes map of the Otherlands yesterday ans almost half way through already ❤❤ at the end of the month I write in my bookdiary how many books I read sbd what kind of books, and which where my absolute favorites ❤
I value your reviews and would appreciate your thoughts on "MANIPULATED LIVES: Unmasking Social Media's Shadow" by Harmander Singh. Considering your expertise, your insights would help me decide if it's worth a read.
Hey! I'm actually really excited to see how you'll react to A Winter's Promise cause it's one of my favorite series of all time (French is my first language). Christelle Dabos is such a sweetheart, I love her so much (she's Belgian like me and I've had the opportunity to met her at an event) 🥹 I hope you'll like the book, this serie is really interesting but don't be surprised if the atmosphere of the first book is..... cold hahah It gets better and better the more you progress on the serie :D
I really love how you dont waste your journal like you just continue it instead of starting a whole new journal for the year.
thanks! i just really like having every single page filled up in all my journals!
@@katieisreading Im definitley going for this now cause of you! It really does just look much nicer :)

THE SEVEN YEAR SLIP!!! Literally my favorite read from last year!
ooh yay!! i'm so excited to see what i think of it!
The calendars you drew in your journal for tracking which days of the month you read which book are so cool!
I've literally already watched this video twice through !

Gonna read Check and Mate with Katie this month 😊💜
Purple is her colour! 💜
I never end up doing any pink/red themes so February is always an excuse to break out the pink stationary ✨
