This is the only proper portrayal of Sixshot, at least as far as G1 goes. He got one scene in the American cartoon and the Marvel comics didn't even use him. So apparently Takara cared more about promoting him than Hasbro did.
This episode show that Sixshot isn’t the murderous and psychopathic that everyone thought of. He fights with dignity and honour and he stood firm to his convictions. He kills only coz he was hired to do so by Galvatron. Even his final fight with Ultra Magnus, Magnus died a warrior’s death. It was Sixshot who challenged Ultra Magnus openly and cleanly to that fight and Magnus accepted the challenge. Sixshot’s way of fighting sooner or later will cause him to turn against the Decepticons but never did expect that it’ll be the next episode.
The reason that Daniel and sixshot are together is that sixshot got betrayed by scorponok and Daniel was in part of fortress maximus that got ejected and pulled in by the planet
Sixshot already knew that Scorponok would deliberately abandoned him and that when he saw the Autobots are willing to put everything aside to come for Daniel, he realised that the Auotbots ways are right. He had every chance to take Daniel as hostage when Chromdome and the Headmasters confronted him but he returned Daniel to the Auotbots before saying goodbye in a honourable fashion
Ultra Magnus died a warrior’s death. Sixshot did not use any dirty tactics to attack Magnus but challenged the Autobot City Commander cleanly and openly. Ultra Magnus accepted the challenge and was beaten. Surprisingly when he challenged Chromedome, he decided not to use his clones but to fight him one-one.
Wow I had no idea that one of my favorite Decepticons can make a pretty good protagonist. Always liked Sixshot, though I don't understand what they are saying here lol.
