Can't say enough about how much it means to me and I'm sure many other true blue catfishermen appreciate your commitment on the OVER harvesting of catfish on the Ohio River. I would think that Kentucky wildlife officials would be protecting our wildlife and not let them kill off the trophy fish. 😥
Preach about the commercial fishing. I'm all for running a business, making money, putting cat filets in a restaurant - but catching/selling trophies to sell to a murder pond is straight animal abuse. I'm not even opposed to the idea of a pay lake, but make them raise their own fish - don't let them steal from the wild. Oh wait - pay lakes are 100% about gambling and nothing about fishing, they wouldn't be able to afford raising and sustaining their own fish. They'd go out of business immediately if there was any sort of regulations or self-sustaining standards they were held too.
I don't understand how the camera guy didn't give you a high five! You can feel the energy through the screen here and he was right there on the boat!!! "C'mon man!"
Chris I was just at local bait shop that has stop selling whisker seeker tackle because they surport the regulation of of paylakes. So I put my hundred dollars back in my pocket. Left a counter full of fishin tackle and left. So ask if your local bait shop sales whisker seeker. If they don't ask why? I support the regulation of the Ohio river and regulations of paylakes. Kentucky really needs to step along with all bordering on the Ohio river. And REALLY enforce the regulations on hoop netters and transportation acoss state lines. Confiscate boats trucks and supend fishing licence. PEACE OUT Chris Thanks again for your videos and useful 😎🎣🐟🎣😎
Chris I was just ranting today about Kentucky's failure to protect and enforce their regulations on Ohio river. Guess if it's not Lake Cumberland it isn't worth protecting. Ohio is JUST as guilty too. Their lack of enforcement of the few regulations the the so fish pre acre the keeping of paper work the open gambling. I realize people have eat I know 3 different families that own paylakes. I can fish any 3 for free. But I don't I pay for an Ohio fishing license and expect rules on hoop netters, people taking too many over size fish. These bordering need to work on enforcement and regulations. To protect what's left of the Ohio river fisihery. PEACE OUT 🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🎣
If you fish that stretch of river and you accidentally forget to pull your anchor up all the way and it accidentally snags hoop nets, dragging them away and destroying them.. Well, that would just be an accidental shame.
Do you actually believe that if the paylakes did not buy fish from the commercial fishermen that they would not sell them to another source???? the paylakes pay more, but if all paylakes were closed today, the trophy fish would still go to market!!! the only way to regulate the commercial fishing is to limit them to certain stretches of the river and not other sections!

Ky dfwr is in there hip pockets on the commercial side. We've been pushing the issue as hard as we can but they have no ears for sportsman in ky
Great show, looking fed to E2! And yeah pay lakes need to be abolished
