In case you were wondering why we like seeing stroke play. This is why. Everybody struggles to finish from time to time and Match Play gives an easy out and misses the blow up holes. This stuff is gold!

Hole 8 Grant needs to play a provisional off the tee. He hits it OB, no red stakes, and then takes a drop. Tig had to re tee earlier in the round for the same hook OB shot. No bueno

The microphone choice is tough. The ones you guys used today picks up the conversation really well, but the golf shot sounds very muted. The scope mic is better but under windy conditions it's so hard to hear what's being said that it's hard to pick which one is better. I would leave it up to the editors to decide which mic to use on the courses.
Lav mic is 1000% better tbh
As long as they don't wear the mics clipped to their hats. That looks fucking stupid
I always prefer a lav mic personally.
I much prefer the shotgun mic for the sound of contact and also i think the clip on mics look super ugly. also they are not using lav mics. you can plug a lav into the reciever theyre using but theyre just using them native.

I really like the mics being on yall. Makes it easier to hear both of yall (in my opinion), and makes for some fun jokes when you arent next to each other and can speak directly to camera.

Agree. 18 hole stroke should be at least 2 points if a 9 hole match play is 1 point.

For real. Did you see the match play for the pga tour this weekend? You can really see how many birdies pga players can make when they attack each hole in match. One player shot a 27 in 9 holes. Nine 3's in a row. Match play just brings out the birdies for some reason. Stroke play is a different animal.

I enjoy having the mics on both of you so we can hear the conversation and banter easier. But I imagine it isnt as comfortable playing and requires more prep, but I enjoy the mic set up in this video.

I have always felt that if you can hit your 3 wood you should be able to hit your driver. I also tee mine low to the ground and take my 3 wood swing. Still goes about 280-300. 3 wood is usually around 240-260. Do what works

Tig's driver seems to be just like Rory, getting stuck at upper 120s club head speed and either blocking right, or handsy hooking it left. Probably be a good idea to do what he just did, shorten the shaft down to 44 inches, and play Ventus Blue 6X instead of a black which is a bit softer in the handle, which not only gives a bit more feel in the handle, but also has a little more spin and higher launch, which are the things Micah was missing in his driver as well. Rory was unstoppable with his new driver immediately at the Dell Match Play, and spoke highly of it and his confidence, literally fixed all his driving issues with that shaft change, without any distance loss either.
If the the golf thing doesn’t end up working for Tig he can always be an English professor. lol
Tig slows that swing down a tad to get some consistency, watch out. He will be deadly. Keep up the great content boys 🤙🏻
I have to say I like the shotgun mic better, it picks up the natural sounds on the course.

McIlroy was going down that route too but he seems to have rethought it.
I personally use a hat ball marker, have for 2 1/2 years, I know where it is and can quickly get to it instead of digging around in my pocket with tees, divot repair tool and extra ball. I actually have not seen another man use this method, but about 90% on the LPGA do.
I would like one of those ball markers if possible I like the new project that you guys have playing with other guys other you tubers

Well Grant just recently shot the lowest 9 hole round he’s ever had on camera. It looked pretty consistent.

Bermuda is wirey and super thick. Surrounds the ball negating any spin.
