Fun fact- the only demon contract Geralt story in the books turned out to be staged demon possessions in mass murders committed. Geralt is hired by a group of male sorcerers to essentially deal with this issue they created by experimenting with demons. Turns out the mass murders were not from a demon possessed mage, just a narcissistic psychopath mage who just enjoys killing women, children, and mutilating the corpses for fun and "educational experiments". Seasons of Storms is a prequel to Last Wish, it's a really good book, Geralt adds 3 more conquests to his trophy case as well! Lol

So I don’t think O’Dimm is a demon (so I’m going to use to old real world terms to set out my idea) So as far as I know these terms are ancient Sumerian in origin, back then the saw the spirit world as two distinct groups Deamon (Christians would later take this word and do there Borg thing and absorb it and make it part of them changing it into demon and change it’s meaning to be evil which it wasn’t originally) the term deamon is a large catch all group that can mean anything from a god like Zeus or Loki to a fiend or djinn and can also include demigods like Hercules so a half human can be in the group of been a deamon, then separately in their own category we have Angles, this is something I found odd I mean I knew that Angles show up in other religions (The Sumerians been several thousand years before Christianity) but to have them in there own separate group when you have so meny other spirits all grouped under deamon is just odd. But back to the story of the Witcher and particularly O’Dimm, ied say he would fall under the larger group of Deamon but not in the subcategory of demon I thing he is something else possibly something unique, I also don’t think he is possessing someone’s body I think that is his form or at least a version of his form, I don’t think we have seen his true form but we started to get close to it when he is banished in heart of stone, he actually reminds me of a snake human hybrid for a bit, I don’t think he is the god of the setting as if he is how can he be banished from it? 1:35 Well - if every race coming from other worlds would be demons then humans would be demons too because they originally came from another world as well. The Witcher world is not their original place of origin. There are not all that many races that are truly native to the Witcher world. The only two races that are for sure native to the world because they predate all others (even the gnomes) are the Werebubbs and the Vran. They nymphs (all varieties) are also very likely native to the world, gnomes and dwarves are probably native as well. With the elves it already gets murky - they might or might not be natives. They are definetly pre-conjunction of spheres, but given their magical powers including the ability to open portals it is possible that they originate on another world. Humans are not native - they are technically post-conjunction creatures just like the rest of the lot (ghouls, vampires, drowners and many more). I wouldn't state as a fact that demons cannot feel emotions like love or loyalty. I'd say it is more likely that they only feel these emotions towards their own kind but not towards homanoids. An analogy: Most humans hate or at the very minimum despise insects and spiders and don't feel love, compassion or loyalty to them. Does that mean that humans can't feel these emotions or is are we just limited to feel them towards our own and very similar species?
Way is Gunther this high on almost all lists? He got a lot of "posas" and likes to make people THINK he is unstopabel, but how much of this it tru?? 1 u have to think before u wish enything, much like with a geni, so no pointets there, 2 all it takes to beat Gunther is one rittel with is not that had to solve.... yes he can stop time(for a wile) and pup up in plases wher he can make deals.... so how do people jump from a petty deamon that makes deals, to an all powerfull deamon?? 3. If he was as powerfull as people say, why do he then also have to trick/break what was promised, eg standing on the moon and giving back a long dead rose/wife. Wher non of this are successfully completed, but in sted he swop in substetudes without telling, and this only makes me think that he is only a sad lonely crossrods deamon with big ego.
If we talking purely from a power level perspective. I'm gunna have to go with the guy who's allowed to bend time and space to his will. His hax is just too much for anything in this verse. He's literally only beatable because he allows himself to be.
