*PLEASE READ* For those who are worried about the treatment of the owls, I’m an animal lover myself and care a lot about their welfare. All the owls at owl village are bred in captivity and some are rescues. Each of the owls have rest time and separate rooms away from people so they’re never around people for more then a couple hours at a times. Owl village limit the amount of people allowed around the owls at any one time so they’re not crowded and their enclosure is soundproofed. Animal cafés aren’t everyone's cup of tea and there are some dodgy ones, but they serve as a way for people to get close to animals in a safe environment without accidentally getting a pet they’re not capable of looking after. I urge anyone wanting to visit an animal café or zoo anywhere in the world, to check reviews and only visit places that treat the animals with the care and respect they deserve.
Oh my gosh, I'm so jealous! Owls are such beautiful creatures!! I love them so much!! And I'm glad the people in the Café take good care of them, and that some of them are rescues! I can only wish someday I can go there...
Awesome! Gotta go there the next time I'm visiting Japan... and I guess they are quite accustomed to people, but getting my eyes this close to such a beak... o_O
I hope they let them fly around sometimes, it would suck to be trapped in a tiny room, unable to go anywhere. They do look well-cared for though, which is nice.

JapanThing I'm so glad you put so much thought into this. I'm also really happy that they're rescues. Thank you for caring about the animals and thank you for your videos. :)
In hindsight I should have gone into greater detail in the video, glad to see there are people out there that care about these things too, thank you for your comment 😊

Fabulous birds! Would love to visit...
When the owl turns his head at the end, it's so cool/scary, like a robot spinning 360
WeedPornDaily the cool. Thing is owl. Head can turn its head all the way around I use own one as pet he was old
The eyes are fixed inside the head, so they cant move their eyes like we do. Which is why they can turn their heads about 180 degrees.
Thank you for sharing such a nice video. They're really beautiful, I'd love to be able t visit it one day and hold one as well :)
