This is a practice for a concert. You'll even see them even wear 'name tags' so that back up dancers can identify them. This was probably the best of many practices and of course because they LOVE Army's they upload the best one. (We waited for choreo for months and were so hopeful and they finally did.) They have 4 VOCALIST and 3 RAPPERS. I think you all will be pleasantly surprised with their versatility ,skill/talent chaos🤣 and humility.

The name tags are mostly used for the camera director to monitor and chose among different cameras during rehearsal so they're faster during the live performance. That's why they wear the tags or vests mostly when the practice is for a TV or award show where BH doesn't have the control
Take it in, this group has been in the game for 10 years (absolutely dominating now) and they legitimately never slow down.

At the Busan Concert, they opened the concert with MIC Drop, and went directly into RUN BTS, with full choreography for both. Then they did another song right after that one called RUN. All amazing songs. I think you will like it alot. I'll link those for you with English subtitles. If you want more of the concert performances, there are videos with English subs to all of them.

@@TheDemonSlayers This link has both of those (Mic Drop and Run BTS) in one - it's from the group's official channel (BANGTANTV) and shows the choreo more clearly than the livestream version (which has the green W for "Weverse" in the top right corner). And I know you don't know them by name yet but there are fan cams that focus on one member during the whole song, which are cool to watch - you can see the intensity in their dance even more. @@Nilaratna it's from their channel, but it doesn't have English subtitles. A dedicated ARMY does the subtitles for all of BTS videos/performances. She doesn't get the copyright or any monetization on youtube, all the credit goes to Bantantv/HYBE. I try to link videos that people will get thei full enjoyment and understanding.
@@tracydowd4013 Oh yes, I know "Enjoy BTS More" - I exchanged some long messages with her about her process in the earliest days of her channel (I was so impressed/surprised that it was a retired Swedish woman doing all the videos). I definitely agree that it's important to understand the lyrics and meaning in each song - which is what MVs and lyric videos offer. But when it comes to choreo, I can't help but recommend videos that show it the most clearly. I can't stand it when a broadcast cuts away from absolutely key dance moments 😅... and I also suggest that reactors listen to the album version and understand the lyrics before watching lives in any case (not that anyone necessarily listens to me, haha).

This choreo/dance practice was so amazing and a surprise for us armys and just watching the guys goes and shows that they still have the passion for what they love and do even after 10 years
That what it is called 10 years of practice and muscle memory …. Im sure they had to re-practice this dance a few times before getting down but didn’t take too long.

Sienna Lalau, main choreographer/dancer with the Lab had a hand in this choreography. She also choreographed for their song On. The Lab danced with BTS for the American leg of their last tour, they were in JHope's Chicken Noodle Soup and they were his back up dancers at Lollapalooza this past year. They work with the Lab often.

You might be interested to know this was only a practice for one song they performed at their free concert in Busan! This was only song #2 in their set list and the 1st song was also crazy high energy. The energy you see in this particular choreo is generally the pace they perform at every single concert or showcase they’ve ever performed - and they don’t even have opening acts!!!!
They are just incredibly talented (and fit) and there’s no other group in the world like them - not in the past and present, nor likely will there ever be!!!🤷♀️. They’re just THAT great!

You should watch their MV “ON:Kinetic Manifesto Come Prima” the song is incredible and the choreo is 🤯. There is also an official MV for ON but it is more cinematic so be sure to watch the Kinetic Manifesto version. It is the song I first heard when I discovered BTS in early 2020 (just before pandemic shut down the world) as it was from their Map Of The Soul 7 album that was about to be released that they were doing promos for in the states.

to answer ur question, technically yes it’s k-pop. k-pop is an industry, not a genre. bts has done multiple genres and are extremely versatile (they have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists.) if u like a certain genre, u might not like ALL their songs (bc again, they’ve done so many genres.) personally i do like all of them bc genre is not that important to me. on that note, if u like bts, doesn’t mean you’ll like other k-pop groups bc again,, it’s an industry n not a genre. there’s a lot of different… sounds in k-pop.
but for the next video, i’d u like the dance, i’d recommend danger (dance practice). on kinetic manifesto (music video). and maybe fake love? music wise, i’m gonna be selfish and recommend my favs lol so pls get a lyric video or something. i’d recommended we on, hip hop phile/lover, paradise, jump, tomorrow, and if i ruled the world. obviously u don’t have to do all of them n i have NO idea what ur music taste is like so it’s hard to recommend. u mentioned rap but didn’t say if u liked it or not but if u did, i’d say either the rap line’s solo work (all the rappers have 2-3 albums/mixtapes each so u have options) or their tracks in bts albums. i’m a sucker for outro: tear, intro:skool luv affair, and their earlier cyphers. okay, i wrote too much lol

@@TheDemonSlayers no worries! i’m a rapline bias (bias means favorite member so i’m saying the rappers are my 3 fav members, SUGA (yoongi) being my ultimate favorite. so if u do end up liking their rap stuff, i can recommend some? it’s hard to guide urself in the beginning but if ur genuinely interested, there’s a lot of fans willing to help :)

The members actually sing while running on treadmills to build up stamina and maintain stable voices. Their concerts are almost constant movement and they sound just as good live as on a recording.
