8:44 Kids need vitamins especially to grow, and as she's 1 a bunch of sugary donuts won't do her any good, although a lot of those tiktok comments are just yikes, I think we need to help her get some healthier foods for her kids! (A donut once in a while is fine, but as her only lunch is a nono imo)
If she cooked with just less butter and grease, and just added some fruit and veggies here and there, that’s how my mom taught me, you can have a big ol sandwich but have carrots and an apple or grapes or an orange with every meal, my mom was never stick thin but she’s always ate so healthy since she has typo thyroid, so she taught us how to have a balanced meal, thanks to that I don’t eat junk food much, just once in a while
The butter she used for the sauce is the usual amount to make a roux which is how you make a base for the sauce she was making, equal flour to butter that's the rule 🫢
I don't think fatphobia has anything to do with it honestly. The fact is, in America this isn't just an "I'm busy so I'll make this for now" meal, this is an average meal. Childhood obesity is rising here and it's genuinely because people do not have a proper education around nutrition and how to cook. The cost of fast food is also rising with inflation, so it's not necessarily more affordable. I saved so much money by becoming an "ingredients" shopper instead of a "snacks & frozen meals" shopper. I think it's wise to check out Michelle McDaniel's video on the topic, she also grew up with the same meals and thought it was normal, and thought it was "in her genes" to be fat... But your body size is largely determined not by the genes in your family, but the eating habits + lifestyle choices in your family.
I don't want to sound like one of those people who post negative comments on her videos... but seeing the amount of oil, seasoning and the spoonful's of butter genuinely made me feel a bit sick 😭 I need to stop watching your food related videos before/after eating, feeling a bit ill now 😭
I'm not a parent yet, but I kinda get it, because my parents struggled when I was growing up. My mother worked 2 jobs while my dad was assigned to work in a different state, we were struggling financially because my parents were also paying for their college loans. But my parents still did their best to prepare proper meals for us. Sometimes we have unhealthy food too, like cereal for dinner or donuts for breakfast. But my parents STILL did their best to prepare better meals with whatever ingredients we could afford. We could only have a few fish or meat because they're so expensive where I'm from, but my parents mixed them with lots of veggies that my mother grew in her tiny garden. We didn't order takeout a lot because takeout costs more than just cooking. Then for fruits, we could only afford the cheap ones like bananas and apples. My parents didn't like giving us too much candies or chocolates for dessert because they were worried about dental care being ridiculously expensive here. Being a busy parent isn't an excuse to feed your kids this kind of crappy food all the time. Every once in a while it's okay, but if this is how you always cook, it's unhealthy for the kids.
Honestly in America at least, a family going to McDonald’s now costs more than buying ingredients to cook a proper dinner. People can’t afford it anymore, it used to be cheap when we were kids but now it’s a luxury. Better for your stomach, health and wallet to home cook
My family was poor. There was a point where we were that poor my dad made a mashed potato pie. It was literally a casserole dish of mashed potato with some cheese on top and baked beans to add some liquid to all that dry tater. Shit happens, you make do with what youve got. Ok, the donut breakfast was extreme imo and toast really was a better option but if you aint got any that day, you make do with what you got. The other days was home cooked meals or if it was something quick it'd be nutritious. There's absolutely no excuse to feed your children this sh*t every day.
I have to agree with the other comments, this is neglect. Refusing to properly feed a child has no excuse because like a comment you read said, there are easy and cheap options that are much healthier. I have had to parent 4-5 kids at a time alone and their health was never a compromise for me even on a low budget.

My mother was a single parent and managed to have home cooked meals for me every night! The standards of how people eat / feed their children have deteriorated horribly. There is no excuse to feed your kids badly. Even if they're picky, it's a parents responsibility to teach their kids not to be. It's shocking to me that he would defend this way of living ...
@@LauraPoulter a pack of donuts like that is more expensive than some fruit which would be much better for the child, just like a fresh cooked dinner would be cheaper than the takeaway’s she is buying. A good idea for using your groceries before they expire is to shop for what you're gonna cook that week. Esp if you don't have a deep freezer or a big family. I keep a nice amount of non-perishables at all times, simple stuff like can tuna and salmon that I can cook and make with rice in an hour, but if I need fresh meat and veg, I just buy what I'm gonna cook when I know I'll cook it by the next day. Saves money, the cooking happens, and I earn my take out at the end of the week because I ate homemade earlier 😅

I grew up with parents making this type of food and still do and even I think this isn’t ok bc she does it every single night
A lot of these meals seem reasonable to have occasionally. I'd eat most of it, without complaint, if it were offered. But this woman seems like she's feeding her kids a steady stream of this stuff, and that's the problem. Fruits and vegetables are essential daily things for growing children. This diet has led to an increase in childhood diabetes and heart problems in America for decades, and I was one of the kids raised on these meals and was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 10, even though my weight was reasonable. It's not about her being a bigger person to me, though I'm sure some people have a problem with that, but I can't just because I'm not a skinny guy myself.
Any of these things could be made better. If I give my kid powdered donuts for breakfast, it will be along with some scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. You can have balance. This has none of that.
i experienced the calorie restriction as a child because i didn’t get my moms skinny genes… she eats a pint of ice cream every single night. most days i just have a protein shake and that’s it. literally that’s it. i’m still twice her size. and we gobble butter because butter makes everything better.
Also, butter is a fat. An unhealthy fat. That is why you are fat. And nobody can survive off of just protein shakes. So I know for a fact you're lying. Shit up and go outside and put that "protein" to use.
never was encouraging the way she feeds her child btw. just saying i still ended up overweight with calorie restrictions AND. a pretty unnecessary workout for a child.
I was so genuinely happy with the positivity in this you have no idea. Her children aren't starved and seem happy, so who cares. Not your monkeys.
If it's not everyday then it's not so bad but if it's everyday it's bad, as for the kids being "chunky" they're growing kids and i bet the person who commented that they can see the fat on them is probably bigger than the mum or they're anorexic and shouldn't be projecting their ED onto other parents kids.
I’m only on the 2nd video and all I see is how this woman is so agressive with the food and she looks so angry and peed off. She just looks so miserable making these videos like she knows she doesn’t want to do them.

As an American (unfortunately) Cheetos? Nah. In fact? 99% of foods that come in bags like that? Nope! Shoot ! Even our soda and chocolate bars have sooo much added shit. I’m 47.5 kids. My kids thought I was a pain when they were little and didn’t have sponge Bob crabby Pattie’s in their snacks and sure as shit weren’t allowed the school “lunches “…. Now that they’re older? They’re so thankful I didn’t feed them american crap. The vegetarian part? Was like a mind UF to the schools. They thought that meant we were starving them. American food would t even be prison food in moray countries
Hmmm those burgers look a bit burnt .... Maybe it's the seasoning... Wonder if she buys the seasons in bulk cause looks like she used that whole bottle on one meal
I was talking about this woman earlier today, there is another 'plate my kids lunch with me' video where she uses these huge, glazed ring donuts. I can't stop thinking about them, they look SO SO good and I wish we had them like that in the UK. Then i get home and see you've done a video on her. I screamed at the butter in the 'roux' but damn, i bet it was filling and tasty. No excuse for the poor diet, she could do better. I cant pretend my diet is any better, but i also dont have kids to feed. I was ready to kick off with the prank video but SHE GOT ME. Love a lewis upload, so happy to see you uploading regularly again. big fan
I will be the one. I’m 35, and I can say, she does what she knows and she does her best. She has several kids. Eff everyone. Mothers are shamed enough without those mean comments. (And I’m childfree.)
Lolll veggies are expensive Icl but I still feed my son a balanced meal I buy loads at the start of the month and try to use as many as possible - but he does have cheese puffs with it and the An occasional rich tea biscuit as a snack if he asks for one - end of the day the kids are eating, at least they are. Okay she could've put more effort in some of the meals and make them more nutritional - some days can be less healthy and that's okay! My son has takeaway with us when we do - he'll get a happy meal etc. he's a kid But also the same parents moaning that she's giving her kid donuts and nuggets for breakfast and dinner also feed their kids pancakes, bacon and waple syrup for breakfast. What's the difference?? Because I can't see it - nutritionally they're the same. I think if she gave her kid some more fruits or veggies with the meals she would still get the criticism though because of the fatphobia but hey, she's posting it on social media so I guess it doesn't bother her. The kids are fed and happy - that's all that matters
For sure if this woman was thinner and looked richer, people wouldn't have nearly the issue they do. Are we all forgetting how picky kids can be? The fact that they're eating is what's important at the end of the day. She gives me the vibe of a mom who just got home from work, is tired, and is still taking the time to make her kids food. Food that they will actually eat. But people want to bully her because she's not pretty, thin, and rich. Leave her alone. It seems to me she's doing the best with what she has. Some of y'all really hate fat and poor people.
donuts for breakfast is every kids dream, so the fact that the little girl reached for the yogurt/apple sauce first is so telling

American food would t even be prison food in moray countries
i love binging his videos
Hmmm those burgers look a bit burnt .... Maybe it's the seasoning... Wonder if she buys the seasons in bulk cause looks like she used that whole bottle on one meal
I always make sure I have fresh fruit for snacks! My kids LOVE strawberries grapes apples! And it’s easy for them
To just grab
Least she aint askin kids for 3 somes
7:08 as an American I have to say lots of people eat Cheetos I personally don’t like then
LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE LEWIS
I’m American and don’t eat Cheetos my kids don’t either 😂 I actually can’t remember the last time I seen someone eat them
Did you see the salt she poured 😮😮😮😮
17:26 SPLATOON REFRENCE?!?!
Do we think there is a correlation between being pretty gay and a vegetarian? I too am both so I think yes
no
@@Lxkoxkoksolps fair enough😂
what she's doing isn't great, but I still respect her worlds more than anyone who posts their kids' faces online
Bugs me more than she just covers the outside of the burgers in seasoning, that’s just gonna burn. Why she not season all the meat
Overt narcissism
I was talking about this woman earlier today, there is another 'plate my kids lunch with me' video where she uses these huge, glazed ring donuts. I can't stop thinking about them, they look SO SO good and I wish we had them like that in the UK. Then i get home and see you've done a video on her.
I screamed at the butter in the 'roux' but damn, i bet it was filling and tasty.
No excuse for the poor diet, she could do better. I cant pretend my diet is any better, but i also dont have kids to feed. I was ready to kick off with the prank video but SHE GOT ME.
Love a lewis upload, so happy to see you uploading regularly again. big fan
That’s a jar of mayonnaise she’s putting on the sandwich rolls, not butter. Also please marry me
Poor mama is T I R E D❤
Wait ✋️ wait ✋️ wait ✋️ are sugar cookies not a thing in the UK?
No 😢
So new cooking vid when?🤷🏼♀️
giggled
Sorry,I have 8 kids you're talking bs 😮😅😅😅😂😂😂😢😢😢😢😢😢😅😅😅😅
I will be the one. I’m 35, and I can say, she does what she knows and she does her best. She has several kids. Eff everyone. Mothers are shamed enough without those mean comments. (And I’m childfree.)
Yes lovely!!
theres a wendys in the uk ✨
Lolll veggies are expensive Icl but I still feed my son a balanced meal I buy loads at the start of the month and try to use as many as possible - but he does have cheese puffs with it and the
An occasional rich tea biscuit as a snack if he asks for one - end of the day the kids are eating, at least they are.
Okay she could've put more effort in some of the meals and make them more nutritional - some days can be less healthy and that's okay! My son has takeaway with us when we do - he'll get a happy meal etc. he's a kid
But also the same parents moaning that she's giving her kid donuts and nuggets for breakfast and dinner also feed their kids pancakes, bacon and waple syrup for breakfast.
Waple syrup 😭😭😭🤣 maple syrup***
And a usain that is to much butter
For sure if this woman was thinner and looked richer, people wouldn't have nearly the issue they do. Are we all forgetting how picky kids can be? The fact that they're eating is what's important at the end of the day. She gives me the vibe of a mom who just got home from work, is tired, and is still taking the time to make her kids food. Food that they will actually eat. But people want to bully her because she's not pretty, thin, and rich. Leave her alone. It seems to me she's doing the best with what she has. Some of y'all really hate fat and poor people.
Thank you!
This!!
Hahahahahahahaha
Do you know Cam is copying your vid titles 😂
