Londres, 1964 : rencontre avec des mods et des rockers. A l'époque, une grande rivalité oppose les deux sous-cultures. Les uns roulent en scooters, soignent leur look, écoutent notamment du rock anglais et de la soul. Les autres roulent à motos, et portent le Perfecto en cuir...
Avec une interview du Reverend William Shergold, a.k.a. Father 'Bill', fondateur du fameux Club 59.
A ses débuts, 9.000.000 est une émission très belge et volontairement anecdotique. Premier grand magazine et la plus célèbre des émissions d'information de l'INR puis de la Radio Télévision Belge, il s'intéresse à Miss Belgique, aux Gilles de Binche etc. Les sujets sont courts, factuels. Le magazine mélange reportages, interviews et séquences divertissantes.

I wonder where the inside mod footage was taken , maybe at the scene In London or at the coast maybe that club they were going the zanzibar club. I aslo know that most of this footage comes from the BBC panorama broadcast in april 64 but I dont know where the french bit comes in. Can anyone shed any light on this for me please

IT was broadcasted on Belgian television, they used to take footage from the BBC ( witch they still do) and they subtitled it for the french speakin' Belgians. There are a few Belgians intervieuwed in the footage, hearin' the dialect they are speakin' it should be in Antwerp.Hope this was helpful to you.
