- Bury, Lancashire, England famous for its black puddings, its world famous open market and the rock shopping area. Using the panasonic lumix GH1 and the 20mm f1.7 lens in avchd 1920x1080 at a hacked rate of 35Mbps Bury and it's famous, and not so famous are captured in this short video edited with sony vegas home studio 9 platinum edition and rendered as wmv11 media file.
Thank you for making this video. It brought a tear to my eye. Born and bred in Bury. Moved to the States 25 years ago. Gosh I miss home.

@derherwig Herwig, thanks, that effect is called the "bump" filter and it is in the sony vegas home studio software. Also gives a real cool pen and ink drawing if you use black and while. thanks for viewing.Graham

It seems that things have changed since I last lived there, 30+ years ago I left that town & lots have changed since then. I have to say though as much as these films are nice to watch I would never go back, it has changed so much & lets say its been taken over by the kind of people that no decent person would like to associate with, but it was still nice for memories.

Just eaten one which my dear wife bought as a surprise for me from the local ASDA and it had the consistency of shit and toothpaste,texture wise-eughh ! Donald Smith on Burnley market does an all-round better BP and for nearly 1/2 the price @ least it stays solid.
The black pudding you get from Asda is the Bury Black Pudding co, which is shite and not the original Chadwick's, they called themselves The Bury Black Pudding Co to cash in on the popularity of Chadwick's which is far superior, Chadwick's don't use Supermarkets to sell their product.
