Born On The Sun is the best song. To play that after staying up all night and watching the sun come up is the ultimate. Personal and emotional. The greatest underrated song of his career. Also my favourite Dio album.

Peter Southern ..When you say "Awful Music", are you refering to "Rap?" Cause if you are, I will definitely agree..BUT, just to mention that there is NO music in rap. How does anyone refer to "TALKING" as..SINGING? And as for that noise they call music..How much talent does it take to push a button on a synthisizer to make the fake sounds of a drum..
I guess music is no longer a pleasing manipulation of sound. Rap IS good, just not all. Like rock, not all of it is good, some of it is trash. And the "noise" comes inspired from multiple musical backgrounds. Funny thing is, you sound just like all those people who were talking trasb a out rock when it first started.
My favourite track of ‘…Wolves’ is ‘Between Two Hearts’. Love the bluesy dischordant guitar that Rowan brings to the song. Ronnie’s lyrics explores the ‘darkness-toxicity’ that can exist in relationships.The dissolution of the Bain,Schnell, & Appice line up, is covered in Ronnie’s book. I think Ronnie felt the guys were too complacent. There are two sides to every story. Claude Schnell has talked about it in interviews. Claude said Gary Huey auditioned for the guitar vacancy and the then band felt “he was the guy” along with Jimmy, but RJD wanted a guitar protégée. Perhaps Gary not getting the job knocked the enthusiasm out of them?
Grunge did shift the focus (for me) for hard rock. It was the last gasp of Rock N' Roll - Soundgarden, Nirvana, & Alice In Chains all blew my mind and metal took a back seat for a time. Metal is still here, though, and grunge is not. I still love metal.

This Album came out at a weird time.. But i will say that Goldie was the Best Guitar Player and Dream Evil was the Peak.. Yes Die hard Fans will say Vivian.. but i say Goldie Dream Evil & Rowan sounded like a Thin Version of Dream Evil.. great Lead guitrar Player but Goldie destroyed the Role.. Evil on Queen street was great

I went to school with Rowan. All the other kids in bands were average at best but he just blew us away. And a nice guy to boot!
