As much this is cute and all but I’m wondering how is it not hurting the otter’s teeth while biting on some ice cause when us humans bite ice sometimes it hurts our teeth
You would think so, but because these animals live in the arctic surrounded by ice. Their teeth are structured very differently than ours They only eat fresh invertebrates like crabs, snails, mollusks, clams, mussels, etc…all having tough exteriors (shells,) so their teeth have to be pretty sharp and strong to survive.

I'm so thankful he's/she's loved. I can't even give a name to what I feel when I watch him/ her crunch and enjoy the ice. Beyond heartwarming.
