When I was younger I pretty much would eat anything whilst I was travelling but this changed after eating a meal with some locals in Cambodia,it didn't taste too good and it turned out to be jungle food which they advise people and restaurants not to eat or sell it anymore
@@olderbackpacker I only found out when the one guy said,oh my son he loves the snake which I thought was fish so I'm a bit more careful these days ,all the best.
Thanks for this video. This town looks good for bicycling. If I lived in Cambodia do you know what town is safest for cycling ? I was in K. Kong in 2009.
Traffic and roads in Cambodia is probably not the best for cyclists but I reckon Battambang would be the best place. Small ish city but plenty of areas just outside that’s perfect for bicycles
Very confused about the actual border crossing, the name is Cham Yeam! Koh Kong is the name of the Provence, plus it has an island called Koh Kong! The actual main town is called Krong Khemara Phoumin! So did you actually go the island? Though the actual island doesn’t have any hotels on Google maps. Or just stayed in the main town on the mainland?
I’m as confused as well. I never do any research on the place I’m going to but I saw Koh Kong on the map and went on booking.com and Koh Kong (the town) had lots of hotels. Completed my evisa online and the border crossing asked for was Cham Yeam (Koh Kong), all drivers at the border asked if I wanted to go to Koh Kong, then when I arrived, found out the island nearby is also Koh Kong! As well as the Province!
Hey up Stewie…time for a recharge bud 👍🏻😎…enjoy a pizza n a big boy sleep 😋😎…think you deserve it!..everyone will agree the vids are awesome 👌😎 Jamie b
