I agree that learning what great music sounds like in your room on your system is very important.
My mixing improved considerably after I installed a wife trap in the next room - 4 panels of 6 inch thick rockwool slabs placed around the wife, optionally one on top to take out those shrill 3k frequencies while she's on the phone. Now my mixes translate better than ever, although she did also say she's moving out next week to live with the guy across the road, so it's pros and cons.

I like this format. Test the old ears! I also think its even more interesting that youi have thown in some processors that are saeemingly left field - I feel like that helps keep this in perspective
Compressor 3 sounds great, the rest of the compressors sounded quite similar to each other in my opinion
I was going to buy the Stam 1178 but I bought the Pulsar 1178 and I didn't buy the hardware. It's amazing and the way you can choose saturation type and push into it is wicked.
I think 1 is the weakest and 2 is my favourite, it sounds the most 3D. I'm hoping 2 is the Unfairchild as I've just bought one. 4 has a lot of oomph as well.
So i have the W495 and the 8200 forgot about them. I just popped the W495 on my Mix Buss. Sounds Great. Good Tip now i just gotta go easy right... LOL

Mine: Tim P Opto 1B, Acustica Audio Water EQ, Fabfilter Pro q3, PA bx_Townhouse compressor, UAD Unison preamps.
3 is my fav I am guessing it is the Unfairchild as it has a bass boost, I could be wrong....
I used my Hifiman Ananda Nanos, and preferred number 4. It kept the low end together nicely, made the drums feel up front, and didn’t kill the snare transient. Then I liked number 2. The snare sits in a good spot but seemed like it lost a little low end. 5 had nice lows but squashed the snare a bit too much. 3 was a little thin, and 1 pushed the drums too far back.
TLDR; 4,2,5,3,1
1 is more narrow in stereo image than the rest. 3 has the most high-end (feels like a boost), 4 has a slight boost in high-mids, 5 is the softest and also a bit narrow. It's extremely hard to tell which is which since I only own the UTA and UA plugins, but let's give it a go. 1 - VLA, 2: UTA, 3: Logic, 4: UA; 5 - Dictator.
I don't know which one is which but I like the number 4 the most and than the number 2 is close second because of the tightness and punch on the drums in this case (which might be something different than fairchild I guess since the fairchild has fast attack time)
1,2 and 3 are nice. 1 the vla, 2 the Unfairchild, 3 the hardware dictator. I like 3 the most followed by 2 and then 1. The last 2 sounded too digital.

Dont know wtf was what but I liked 3 and 5 the best , and probably wold pick 3 if gun to the head If I had to guess the "Opto" logic plugin I would guess 2

No the lindell 80 is the best one itb it's made by lsr audio they are among the greatest coders out there
