I think what really helped Lary happiness was that he helped someone, someone who might have been as sad as he was or more. Doesn't matter it was a murderous cosmic clown. For once, he made a positive impact. It is a very heartwarming story.

Larry is one of those characters that are cursed. Where ever he goes he is reminded of it. But I still can't figure out why. BUT whatever the the reason it's well thought out. Especially the clown segment/ending.. wow , someone said it's 14 years😮.

Dear god sad Larry is starting to actually make me sad, buuuuut I’m still gonna laugh lol
1:26:43 TLDR the Tall Boys are my favorite, and their shows of horror remind me that they’re just kids more than them actually acting like kids. If you want to read the rest of this, take it with a grain of salt. I’m 18, so I probably just like them more because I myself feel like two kids in a trench coat instead of a legal adult with a job who can drive and files his taxes and is going to med school in like 4 months.
I know Explosm probably didn’t pay too much attention to this part comparative to the others, but this scene is honestly my favorite and has easily secured the Tall Boys as my favorite characters. Something about the way the snappy music combines and contrasts with the genuine fear and horror expressed by the Tall Boys just evokes an immense emotion in me. I know damn well that fusion wasn’t painless, and can easily imagine how horrifying it would be to see your own body warping itself against your will and killing someone close to you in the process. Also the way the adults just stand around watching, and what you can see of their faces denotes more disappointment and apathy than it does empathy. It also reminds us that these two are just kids more than anything else they have done in my opinion. Their entire interaction with their setting in this series (particularly the ones motivated by fear) reminds me more that they are kids being treated as adults, not really adults, and I feel like they’re finally realizing all that entails.
Also if anyone can tell me what the genre of music playing in the background is called, that’d be a really cool and totally real legal adult thing for you to do.
Also would like to add that I have a theory about the nightmares in general. They serve to show a twisted version of the person’s dreams.
Sad Larry saw his family, and in a sense saw happiness. He was relieved when he was his family, and it’s one of the few times we see him giving a genuine smile. Airplane Dad got to see his airplane wife, the one thing he’s missing from his life after it got destroyed on the sun. The Tall Boys got closer to being an adult, even if they suffered closely and severely for it. Harry the Handsome (?) Butcher (?) sat down and had a genuine talk with himself, where he tried to figure out who he was and what he really wanted.
All of these could have been promises from Silly, just delivered in Silly’s own way. He did end up giving them each of these in the end: Sad Larry got his genetic depression cured (me next ME NEXT I’ve tried everything), Airplane Dad got a new airplane, the Tall Boys became adults, and Harry became a Handsome Butcher again.

Oh man this was wonderful. Every store came together perfectly and there was a perfect amount of silly times and very few serious times and I thank the creators for these masterpieces throughout the years. Can’t wait to see what else y’all have in store for us.
