- I've gotten so many requests for a mother's version of Heartland's "I Loved Her First," and finally got around to giving it to all you beautiful mothers out there. I hope you like it! Feel free to use this at your wedding as long as you send me videos!!! 🥰
I danced with my mom to this song on my wedding day. Long story short my dad left when I was 12 fully abandoned me and my brother. So my mom was raising us on her own until she met my stepfather when I was 16 this song is so special to me. I’ll never forget that moment. And now I can’t listen to it without balling because I think of my own two year old daughter ❤

My grandmother was the one to walk me down the aisle at my wedding. We walked down to the original version but I wish I would’ve found this one. She sadly passed away last March and I’m missing her so much. I hope that when my daughter gets married one day, she’d use this song in honor of her Nunnie(in some way). I’m sobbing listening to this. 😭❤️

Even though I’m not a mother, I can relate to this song because I have a little sister who is almost ten years younger than me. I sort of became the little mother after our parents divorced. She didn’t come from me but I was there to see her first breaths and her first smile. Now, she’s 19, has a boyfriend, and I’m just a bit taken aback that she’s a young woman now and not the same little kid I looked after. It feels like yesterday that I held her on my lap when she was four. Then, I blinked and she’s full grown. Where does the time go? It doesn’t matter how old she gets. She’ll always be “kid” to me.

My wife and I got married in June I wish my wife's mom was able to do that but she wasn't able to but once we renew our vows this most definitely will be played and her mom will be doing that to make up for it

I walked my daughter down the aisle last Saturday October 22nd and this was our mother daughter dance song. We have been listening to this song for weeks to practice not crying it didn't work she totally broke down I was basically holding her up on the dance floor. My daughter is getting married September 30th this year and we lost her dad 10 years ago 😢. I have been searching for the perfect song to dance to with my daughter on her wedding day and this song is hands down the most amazing, sentimental, meaningful song ever. I would really love to sing it to her but I doubt very much if I can get through it without crying. It makes me so very emotional because the words are perfect. Let’s see if I can get through it 😊. I love this song. Me daughter and I danced to it at her wedding because her father abandoned her, her brother and I when she was 5 so I walked her down the aisle l. I had heard the father daughter version and I wished there was one for a mother and I found this on UA-cam. The dj had to record it from UA-cam but it worked because there isn’t any version for f this version available anywhere else. So thank u so much for doing this song 🎶 I would love to post a picture of us bawling our eyes out dancing to this but theres no way to. 😢
My beautiful little girl is about to become a mother, at 27. I was her parent, with a whole lot of help from my own mother, and this song hits hard. I love her partner and he is incredibly amazing to her, so I’m at peace with her beginning her new life, in which I will no longer be her other half. Still, there is something so painful about your baby girl starting her own journey.
