It is wonderful to hear you play this gorgeous Bourree from Weiss's Sonata in A minor No.43. You have previously played the Allemande from this Sonata (No. 25 in your "Weiss" Series), which is stunning. I particularly love the repetitions and the 'continuous sound' aspect of this Bourree, which represents for me the continuous cycle of Nature you show in your "Wildflower" "Macro" images. Your sensitivity to beauty in nature and music is so finely tuned here, the result is exquisite. The sound is rich and joyful, and has great clarity. Your tone and color are wonderful, your perfectly executed delicate embellishments the musical equivalent of your delicate images. And what images they are, they are stunning! I can rely on you to show me things I have never seen before Alberto! Your performance of this Bourree and your video are gorgeous, an absolute treat! Thank you and BRAVO!!!!!! And Congratulations on your new CD!!!!!!!

The colors and textures you show in your images are ravishing, from the amazing opening image of the strings of your lute to the remarkable final image of the macro texture of a violet flower bud. Whoever believes in the sanctity of Nature only has to look at these images to feel at home in the world, that there are such wonderful things in it. Images such as these make me feel that anything is possible. Looking into the heart of a flower is looking at perfection, the state of mind it creates is soothing and healing. I am listening to this Bourree and the Scarlatti Sonata K322 from last week together as a pair. With their joyful moods they sound very well together, particularly because of their respective keys of A minor and A Major. I love them both, they make me feel very happy and cheerful! Your playing of each is wonderful! The sound and tone of your Baroque lute is just the best out there Alberto, happy or sad!!!! :)
