Farway Digital Inclinometer has built-in 3.7VDC 300mAH lithium battery. Does 5VDC 500mAH USB battery charger work, or 5VDC USB2.0 or USB 3.0 port in the laptop work without damage the inclinometer? I think the maximum charge voltage for 3.7VDC lithium battery is 4.2VDC.

Thank you! Is the laser perfectly perpendicular or does it have a litle inclination to project the laser over the wall? I'm asking this because I need to know if this product can be used to align an enlarger for analog photography.

The lasers are directed to the wall. They do not shoot a dot inline with the length of the unit. I hope that helps.

Yes pretty easy really, would just need to source the battery. 4 star screws on the back under the rubber covers. I’ll add some photos on my website written review when I have a chance. Web address for review in video description.

How far can the laser reach?

Depends on how bright the room is and the colour of the wall. In not too well-lit an environment I would say about 3m on each side of the level. Never expect to see any laser outside in full sun.
