Using the USA/ASA airport codes in the search function just blew my mind! I have the pro version of Seats.Aero and never knew of this feature! Thanks Max!
Europe version please! Especially to Italy or Aegean area. I see lots of stuff to Spain, and even France/England. But not much for best business options to Italy/Greece. Thanks!
Would love to see a Euro version! I’ve been using the paid version for a week with GPT-4 plugin option and it has a lot of potential. One down side is that my home airport (MKE) isn’t tracked so ORD is my best option
The number of people that actually take action and book award space is small. Maybe you can be part of that small percentage that takes action and books some of the award space out there! Good luck ☘️!
trueee. Availability is already at all time low due to Asia reopening. ANA is nearly impossible to find even at T-14. Both ANA and JAL are only releasing 1 J and 1 F at 360~ days now instead of 2 J. Don’t need more people to compete with 😭
I know the point of this video is to show how to use the points, however when the points/miles are better? because i found a ticket from NYC to BCN normally at $350 to $450 round trip with TAP air. And if you convert the points to money( meaning cover the trip with points after you pay) you will only spend 20,000 or 30,000 points and cover the rest with money. 🙈 I am just trying to know when it is good to use them.
Thanks Max! I appreciate your work! I do find the flying blue promotions to Europe are extremely cheap compared to the normal prices. doing the math fast, they are approx 1.5 to 2.0 CCP in economy, I can't imagine in premium economy or business 🙏🏾 Thanks!
Thanks for the insightful tutorial! I'm planning for a trip to Japan (then to China) for my family of four in May/June 2024. So far I've seen business class award availabilities on most routes for one or two seats. But my family do want to book the same trip. Do airlines normally have one or two only available? Do they release more after seats are booked? Do I book now or wait for deals later? Thanks.
Hey Max, question! can I use ASIANA points and AMEX points at the same time cause I need to use 50000 points from ASIANA by the end of this year and i have 200000 from AMEX THANKS
Would LOVE a Europe tutorial. Really enjoy watching your videos. I have learned so much from you and you really simply things that otherwise may feel overwhelming for us. Thank you!
I've heard of this tool before and even though I'm a self-proclaimed credit card enthusiast, I haven't gotten too far into the weeds on stuff like this yet which made this video super helpful. When it comes to flights to other continents, do you use the same tools or how does your strategy change? Could be too long of an answer to leave in the comments, but it may make for a good video idea 🤷🏼♂
Seats.aero is great at searching flights around the world. Some tools are better than others at searching for award space. Some more accurate than others some are quicker than others it really depends but seats.aero is a newcomer and it has been great so far. Point.me, seatspy , expertflyer are a few other ones
Omg, I’ve been waiting to commit to paying for a search tool but just didn’t know which one. Super helpful, thank you! Would you say overall this one is the best? I’ll probably go with this one, but can you offer what are advantages, if any, to Expert Flyer, Roame, or any other? Like how about setting alerts? Instead of a European version, would consider a video recommending your fav hotel awards search tool? 🙏🏼✈️🌏
When you say see if the airline will let you add a leg (as in a positioning flight) is that something you just need to call the airline to do? I live in a small town so I will almost always have to position. Thx!
Your videos are always so informative and helpful! Do you have a video on transferring points and booking the flight for either AA or Singapore airlines with these flights? Can we use transfer chase points to use on AA and Singapore air? I don't want to mistakenly transfer points. Lol
Always really useful info, thank you! I have been searching and no luck finding business class rewards flight to India(Mumbai) from SFO in Jan 2024.. Still new to this miles game so any hep/tips would be greatly appreciated.
Focus on finding award space between U.S. and Asia gateway cities first. Once you find that award space then see if you can add a connection flight or you might need to book a separate connecting flight with a different airline. It might be more of LAX-SIN on Singapore Airlines then from there go from SIN-BOM on a different airline or maybe the same airline if that works.
See if the airline you found the transpacific flight with will allow you to add a MNL leg. If not you’ll need to book a separate ticket to get you to MNL

Yes. Please do one for Europe as well. Thanks Max.
Yes, a Euro version would be helpful!
Europe has a lot more options, but I'll see if I can come up with a guide!
Never book an award flight in my whole life so kinda excited to see I have a chance to fly to Asia free someday. That's the key fly free.
Yes, please do a european version
Hey Max would appreciate a Europe version of this video!
Great video. I signed up for the Pro version using your code.
Europe version please! Especially to Italy or Aegean area. I see lots of stuff to Spain, and even France/England. But not much for best business options to Italy/Greece. Thanks!

I want you to do one video on East coast to Dubai

Delta One tool on the site. @@darith770
Yes , a Euro version please
Thank you for the tutorial
Thank you very much for this ❤
very helpful video. have to check this website out
Are premium economy seats not available for points??
Thank you!
Guide for Doha/Maldives would be great.
y
How about a Africa or South American version, love your work by the way ….
Thanks! I'll add it to the list of videos I need to make!
So the Explore feature is for a specific rewards program and the Search feature looks through all of them?
Europe version please
Return ticket version from Asia and Europe would be awesome!! Is it harder to find return flights ?
Same process just in reverse! Return flights from Asia have proven to be difficult as of recent 🥲
Great video but how do you handle return flights? doing the same thing in reverse? thanks I am new at this
Yup! same thing in reverse
@@MaxMilesPoints are there app that does round trip search? Seatspy does round trip but is it mostly European countries? thanks so much

Use your points when you think it’s worth it!
Ask yourself do you think you’ll be able to better use those points for a future redemption?

Is there a reason why after clicking "book with Air Canada Aeroplan" air Canada website keep running but does not show the available seats?
Do a Hawaii
Apply similar strategy , and search Hawaii if that’s where you want to go

No you cannot, unfortunately. Would be sad to see your points expire
@@LK_EBM Thanks for your answer
Europe
Euro please
dude speaks perfect english, but "award availability" totally destroys him, why?! he's clearly fluent, but why those 2 words?
no results for US east coast to the Philippines
