    Did my eyes similar to this and was at Old Navy shopping, a guy approached me and asked who does my make up 😉, told me it was fantastic and revealed he used to work for MAC. Thank you, Wayne 😘

    I love the fact that you didn't mention what those eyeshadows were. Just because I really feel that sometimes people get hung up on the product and not the technique. Great video, I look forward to trying this out! Any advice as how to correct uneven eyelids? With time, one of my eyes is becoming significantly more hooded that the other. :(

    I absolutely LOVE how you have a 10-minute video and you say "Yes, it is longer". Other UA-camrs have a 30-minute video just to put on mascara! You're the best, Wayne!

    Thank you Wayne for doing these simple, one or two shadow looks. I just turned 60, and don't want to do my eyes like a UA-camr, but want to still have smokin' hot eyes! I've been practising with applying my false lashes, and love them! These eye shadow application tutorials are perfect, and you're lovely. Sending you massive love from Brighton, Ontario, Canada!

    Wayne has other hooded eye demos, but this is my fave because it uses his brushes, which I now own. His brushes are so good for hooded eyes. I used this technique this morning and it's a huge improvement over what I was doing. The key is holding the skin taut and very gently buffing the shadow into that corner. I would never do this with cheap scratchy brushes. It's why Wayne's brushes are worth their weight in gold. I have small, hooded eyes, with textured crepey skin and Waynes 17, 19, and 20 brushes were game changers for me. Wayne I hope you release the pencil brush and the flat liner brush in the Anniversary set as singles so I can add those to my collection.

    Thank you so much for addressing these types of issues. I started watching various UA-cam tutorial videos fairly recently. (Past six months.) I wanted to learn how to do makeup better. What I learned? My ‘mature’ skin isn’t liking what so many of the artists are doing. Also...I have hooded eyes and the looks weren’t looking the same. I didn’t even realize I needed to be taught differently....until you. YOU are answering questions I didn’t even realize I had at first. Thank you!

    I love how you always cater to those of us with small and/or hooded eyes. Could you please do a video on waterline lining for smaller eyes? Sometimes, I want to line for a dramatic effect when I’m doing a smoky eye, but my eyes are so small, it makes them disappear. I know many suggest to line close to the bottom lashes instead, but the result just isn’t the same. Sending you much love from Canada! ❤️😘🇨🇦

I had no idea my entire skin care, cosmetic routine would change so drastically. Gotta say I have viewed most of your videos month of January 2022 and received mega meaningful know how as oppose to entire 2021. Thank you! There is hooded. And then there is crepey hooded. That's my challenge. Added to it is a Vertical fold of skin located on the hood of my left eye only. Sometimes there's just no hiding it. I do miss my skin of long ago. oh well But my eyes still work and I can move about and enjoy my life.....I'll deal with my hoods and be happy about it! LUV YOU, WAYNE...

    Allie Greenwell Hi Allie, thanks for asking the one & only Wayne Goss this important question...
    Wayne, I also have 1 eye more hooded from the other due to a long ago car accident that left me with a ‘beautiful’ scar that starts @ inner corner of left eye, travels up & over between brows & dips down traveling just along where right eyes crease ‘should’ be. The scar made me feel like Frankenstein as like most 20yr olds, I was rather vain but still very thankful for not losing my eyes! Because of how the plastic surgeon pulled my face back together (which also left me w/ funky, uneven brows😢) I developed a lot of scar tissue which left everything firm, nice & plump but aging has really caused the crease area to droop! (Sorry, I didn’t mean to write you a book about this🤐) I hope the most friendly, greatest Makeup Artist & best UA-camr by far offers us a solution! My dream would be meeting Wayne in person, if he’s going to any of the NYC shows like IMATS or The Makeup Show this year & him not only offer me personal tips/recommendations but for him to make my face over & then take him out for dinner, drinks & a lot of laughs!!! I absolutely cherish everything about this classy gentleman...Wayne is a true artist, extremely professional & passionate about his work but never smug...thankfully if he makes a mistake he’s able to easily laugh it off & either fix it or start over! He’s a man of great character, his ethics prevent him from taking our money by collaborating with companies that produce poor products! Waynes kindness & compassion for others always shines through in his videos, even if he doesn’t like a product or brand he’s able to give us his honest review without a need to create a scene by unnecessarily bashing the product or company. There is so much more to say about Wayne Goss but it’s going on 2am & have an early start tomorrow so I’ll just add a few more things quickly;
    He makes everything so personable, it feels as if we are old friends.
    I just want to also add that it is a darn shame that he’s not pulling in the top numbers like some UA-cam ppl...I think it’s because his tutorials offers us real solutions for everyday looks as he rarely (&thankfully) goes for the neon cut crease mixed with a glitter halo eye, enough ‘baking’ powder to dry up Florida’s humidity in July & lashes that look like two large tarantulas are napping on your eyelids!!!😂

    Thank you so much, Wayne, for the little tricks and tips you give us about hooded eyes. I just recently found your channel and I think all your videos are informative for me. I never even knew what a hooded eye was until I came across your channel. Thanks again. Have a great night!!

    Great detailed video as usual. Also - so happy you are embracing your grey! Nothing is more youthful/foxy on a man as natural hair. Men age colouring wise very differently than women and don't loose their facial colouring so no need to adjust brows and lips to reappear - grin. Natural hair on a man says confidence and empowered.

    Thanks so much for this detailed tutorial! You really don’t have any idea how much this helped me. I will definitely be using your technique the next time I wear makeup. Seriously, I have been frustrated for so long not being able to have my makeup application work for me. So I’m always glad to learn new ways to make it work.
