- When you drive the Streets to Bakersfield, you might be a little confused about some of the streets that change names as they intersect with Stockdale Highway. As you tour Bakersfield, Coffee and Gosford Roads, Stockdale & California and New Stine or Oak and Wible, will change names depending on which part of town you're going to or in. Used to drive from Truxtun to coffee,then on to Gosford to go to The Marketplace to watch a movie at Edwards stadium 14 back in 1999-2001 when I lived there.Would be neat to come for a visit one day.
Yup! We still call it Edwards even though it is technically Regal now. 😬
