Nice video! Want to add that there's a free 30-slot Green bag for every character at level 1 as soon as they talk to the Twelve's Patron, Jeanselme (sp?). (Watch out for lava though!) Also if you have a shared bank, can transfer the free Small Collectible Bag from Baudry by placing a Mysterious Remnant in the bag to make it BTA. Had about 15 of the small bags on a crafter before eventually getting a btc Huge red bag from the DDO store. (I'd generally recommend buying a Large red bag, and complementing it with the Large bag from Twelve favor)
The medium bags' unique requirement only applies to your inventory. However, you can have multiple in your bank and just swap out which one is in your inventory. I do this on my alt account. It's not quite as good as having one of the larger bags, but it still helps to save on storage slots.
Wow, Today I learned... I didn't know about Three fingered Thad's vendor always having level 1 items, with clickys. This makes accidentally selling my shield clicky last week hurt a lot less. I've played this game forever, and my main toon has like 60 lives, and I still learned something today.
I've been playing for over a year now and actually know all the things you mentioned in the video. But also am a knowledge whore: reading and clicking on absolutely every single thing in an NPC's dialog lol. A few others: +25% success boosters, crafting XP and an Ingredient bag are available from the crafting quest giver for free. You can do this mission once per life (so you can get an infinite if you make lots of new characters and transfer the rewards through shared bank). You can randomly get large bags or portable holes as quest rewards sometimes. You can get more augments for Remnants in Eveningstar: inc. +8 melee/ranged power ones. Favor: You can get a large ingredient bag in The Twelve. It is not bound so you can trade or sell it. The Agent of Argonessen patron in Marketplace gives you a choice of Blood of Dragon (free spell respecs on sorcs/bards/warlocks), any type of Siberys Dragonshard (respec with Fred) or a Portable Hole (for coin lord bag increase). Always grab one after completing gianthold! House Phiarlan @75 favor gives you access to hour long spell buffs (Fingalar D'Phiarlan, 440pp for all buffs) such as jump, resist energies, mage armor and water breathing. Very useful! Shards: Other players will pay shards for Cannith Essence on the AH. Even if you don't craft: it still is worth dissolving higher level gear (epic+), it gives you both essences AND platinum. You can often sell random loot that has 2 augment slots, especially a colorless slot, for Shards. It is useful for crafters.
@Mystic Mical Actually the video is fine in length, the attention in putting in map zones and name of collectors adds to the time and is very much needed. Some of these A.D.D. players need to learn to learn. There quick out the window got my information is what makes up so many mistakes in life/game, because they didn't listen. I've been playing since I bought the box game ddo from CompUSA, so, I've been around awhile too. Even though at first I thought of, "I wonder how long this video is gonna be?" I did see you put time stamps and that's perfect formatting. For the A.D.D's I guess you can disclose this in your "intro" to scurry them along their way. Solid job. Another topic for suggestion is maybe, how to chain Spells/Scroll attacks or melee/range chain attacks. Those I believe are very useful and fun for new players to learn and will cause them to become more engaged in the game for sure.
1. The length of the video is fine. New players don’t know this stuff and sometimes NPCs are difficult to find the first time or two. 2. There’s no such thing as extra Mysterious Remnants. During the Monster Hunter event, it takes 10,000 to buy eternal potions of Death Ward, and other useful potions. 3. I’ve been playing off and on since beta, and I did not know where planar shards came from, so thank you! 4. For new players that may see this, or those that do things the long hard way shown here; just drag your tome into the trade window and it will automatically go to the Ebberon Shard exchange. The 1,750 favor +2 should yield nine shards. Yes these are used in crafting, but they can be turned into the collectors for other potions and items. 5. I so miss the old Three Barrel Cove 6. *ALWAYS* click collectible nodes even if you’re not into crafting. Ingredients sell or can be given to a guild member that does craft.
I agree. Was just saying to another creator, a few months ago, DDO is under represented on UA-cam. There were, at the time, really only 3 people making DDO content.
also can get a free small ingredients bag from Jeanselme Brucetius in twelve tower anytime .Also i have quite often gotten planar shards from renders and reavers ,usually in Invaders quest.
Thats right its not just from favor. I know they used to drop by the spiders in Rit Sac, dont know if that ever got changed. Haven't run Invaders that much to know for sure, but it would be more convenient.
Thats actually a great deal for me, with those tomes. I have a whole library of random pull +1, +2 and upgrade tomes. Cant use a one of them and likely couldn't sell them for much either. If the stones are unbound, I could at least sell those to a crafter. 🤔 Thanks for the info. If they are bound, I can just use them myself.
Your voice sounds familiar I think we've played together years ago. Been playing off and on since release my name was on the fountain on adar. I just loaded ddo up again for the first time in 2 years and I'm having a blast dextrous~1 on sarlona as well, look forward to seeing ya out there.
Oh yes, very familiar with Voodu, love him. Trying to find fresh content that hasn't been covered yet is the fun difficult part. Thanks for stopping by and watching and the recommendations :)
I do add timestamps and chapters so its easier for viewers to hop around. My content will be geared towards newer players getting into the game or returning after a hiatus, so they will probably be wordy at times with many steps. I havent made a video in over a decade so it will take some time to get videos nicer and shorter. I genuinely do appreciate the feedback though, I will continue to see how I can shorten videos and make the information concise.

Ah, totally makes sense!

Nice video, cool to see new creators for DDO.

I'm pretty sure I grouped with you a couple times. I just came back to the game after 10 years away. Currently playing a FvS called Atheistik.
