It's found in both Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31. Jesus said this Golden Rule “sums up the Law and the Prophets.” The verse in the Bible, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is commonly known as The Golden Rule. It's found in both Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31.

Example 2 - Ethiopian bible teaches 13 months of the year. So yes, the Sabbath was absolutely changed. Do more research, I say this to help you not look like a fool. You are good with words, but when you don't know as much as you think you do, it really shows.
Example 3 - power and pleasure are SINS not idols. An idol is literally something put in place of the one true God, not ideas or moral short comings...

@@jill6979 Please take your own advice and read your bible: God commanded Moses to make a bronze serpent to cure snake bites - a graven image. God's not crazy, He knows an idol is a false god, not a statue. He's not going to contradict Himself. Your definition of idol is found neither in the bible nor the English language. What an Ethiopian bible may teach about calendars does not change the fact that the church never changed the sabbath, just to worship on day of Jesus' resurrection - Catholic church left documents explaining what they did and why. Power and pleasure are not sins - God granted power to King David, power to serve God. God gave worldly goods to Old Testament servants like Job to reward them. Worshiping these things makes them idols, as I said earlier, to some people. Have more humility when you see you're wrong and don't be so dishonest twisting things just because you're too scared to face the truth.

@@todadams6533 it doesn't, as a gay person who wants to be a teacher. I completely agree.
Honestly school is the place to teach subjects like math, reading, science, history, etc. It's not the place to preach beliefs. Parents in general don't wanna see religious propaganda or a pride flag on the wall of their kindergartener's classroom. They want to see educational materials, motivational posters, their kids' schoolwork, and little crayon drawings. If parents want their child to have specific beliefs, they should teach them that at home.

"Do not send your children to the public schools."

People need to actually READ what the separation of Church and State actually means! It Literary comes down to the fact that the STATE CAN NOT INTERFERE with any Religion. So it does not mean the Church has to keep out of state things, it means the State HAS to stay out of Church matters! BUT do not believe me, look it up!!!!!
