Hi Konstantinos, solid content as usual!! As mentioned previously, Feb's cost-dip has been great for us and a great time to get a bit assertive with our acquisition before cutting back if needed later on as we approach US elections and such. A+ Crazy method is something jump started last week with our best performing ad for a specific subset of our products and showing great results for winning creative, among other of your methods we have employed! 🔥 Speaking of catalogue ads for larger inventories of varying categories (all within same theme niche), our first ever A+ which is now a few months old runs an all in one catalogue shopping ad with dynamic setting to show products someone has shown interest in...No bid cap & I feel it snags sales from people that have initiated their experience with us from another ad say our winning creatives running in another campaign. However ROAS has generally been higher/similar to other great performing adsets or campaigns... and we rely on increasing AOV. Perhaps catalogue is useful in our case especially for retargeting? Would love to see some more on this catalogue style ads in different use case if you get the chance. (sorry for the long spiel 😅)
Hey glad for your progress. Good job. Whatever strategy we use for normal creatives you can use it with the catalog. Along with all the remarks we give for catalogs from time to time :)
Just discovered your channel and wanted to congratulate you on your work. Straight to the point, no click baiting or anything. Never change that, UA-cam is full of Gurus. Was recently introduced to the idea of running only Advantage+Shopping campaign without much else, for an eCom store, since that will take care of prospecting and remarketing too. What's your opinion on this basic approach for 2024? Are manual campaigns coming to an end?
I can agree to that for many reasons. Adv plus is easier to optimize scale and also more resilient to bad periods compared to a CBO but you can do only 8 per country. So it depends on how much you spend after all. And yes you need less or zero retargeting with these. I think on the next podcast going live today or tomorrow podcast 60 (which is huge 2 hours) I do analyze that I just dont know if it will be on free or paid part. Thanks for the kind words. The plan is to keep it like this :)
Thank you for the video. So when targeting smaller countries you would suggest using the advantage+ campaign or broad targeting cbo, which one would you suggest to begin with? I have a new fb assets and a low budget to work with, keeping that in mind :)
@@KonstantinosDoulgeridisI'll start from there 🙏 also, you said that one should use 5-10 creatives in the adv plus, how about if doing image ads only, do you really need that many variations?
Hi 😊 I still don't know which product will perform best for me (my daily budget $50-60). I want to advertise on a page featuring all the main products on my website (there will be 6). The products are roughly the same price and target a similar audience. In this case, which campaign type would be best? I understand there are options: 1)Advantage Plus campaign with different creatives for each product. 2) Advantage Plus with a carousel featuring 5-6 products and automatic selection of the first card to optimize for a more clickable card. 3) CBO campaign with a separate ad set for each product. Thanks a lot! 😊
Hey Konstantinos! Would you use maximize value of conversions as the performance goal for e-commerce with products with different price points for Catalog ad?
Hi, Konstantinos :) After 7 days of successful campaign performance, followed by 4 days of poor results (2 days with zero and 2 days with negative returns), I paused the campaign. After that, I tried to make improvements by changing creatives and tweaking certain aspects of the website. Because in the successful campaign, the CTR was 1.09% (but low CPC), and I thought that introducing new creatives could improve this. However, for the past three days, the relaunched campaigns have not shown any positive results. In your opinion, in such cases, is it better to start an entirely identical campaign to the previously successful one that later started delivering less favorable results? And if yes, does this also apply to the campaign budget? (i.e., should the budget remain similar to what the campaign was initially successful with, or can it be increased/decreased?) I understand your principle that if something is working, it's better not to touch it, but in this situation, I thought I could improve something to increase the chances of the campaign running longer. However, it seems I may have miscalculated.....
In my opinion the campaign failed cause of a bad period but you should have kept it as I told you in other messages. It is not the campaign. It is the period. Even if you do another it will work again when the original would have also worked :). In bad periods you dont start testing new things cause it is a bad period and they will work eventually when all ad accounts will start working. Hope it makes sense There is no such thing as improve a working campaign. Only improving in a new campaign. It is fine this is something that all of us have to do. Ruin a campaign face the concequences and learn. The campaign you closed would have done better in this bad period compared to the new ones.
@@KonstantinosDoulgeridis I need one more advice from you :) I still don't know which product will perform best for me (my daily budget - $50-60) I want to advertise on a page featuring all the main products on my website (there will be 9). I understand there are options: 1) Advantage Plus campaign with different creatives for each product. 2) Advantage Plus with a carousel featuring 5-6 products and automatic selection of the first card to optimize for a more clickable card. 3) CBO campaign with a separate ad set for each product. Hi Konstantinos, thanks a lot for providing so much value through your videos. I have been running ads for my online jewelry store based in India. On normal days the CPM have been around INR 200 but for my last few campaigns the CPM has gone upto INR 2500. More than 12x. I have changed the creatives, tried everything i could but haven't been able to resolve the issue. Please suggest what should i do?
Hi Konstantinos g8 content keep it up. So i am running a dropshipping store and have started testing and somebody recommended using cost caps in my campaigns. What is your opinion on cost caps?
Will do a separate video. They do work across accounts but super volatile in terms of spend results. You can use em for an extra spend but not trust them as the base campaigns of your account.
Pertaining to CBO optimization in A+ perspective: As we begin to optimize and desert some ads/ad sets that might be underperforming and hone down to a the best ones that have found their hot pockets etc.. assuming budget is still same, we are essentially asking more from each adset at the same budget... pushing us further up the bell curve or maybe even down... recommended optimization when performance begins to decrease for those good assets is to reduce budget correct? I know this depends on multiple factors including budget dispersion per ad/adset and facebook optimizing over time for new context, but is logic correct here?
28:13 i think you actually begin to clarify my question! I guess more curious as to what levers would be utilized when FB indeed begins to fail optimizing in this case.
Depends on how aggresive you want to be and how well you know the account and also on how many ads/adsets are left to absorb the budget that you liberate. The most important thing here is to learn to watch and work with the average results of the campaign and do changes that ifluence the average result. Reducing the budget is one way of controlling and the last one since this is the last step. To lower and keep only the ads/adsets that work. Before that closing asd/adsets is the what you do to correct campaigns. I try to post videos about it all the time when I see interesting things but the different optimization cases and the courses of action you need to take are countless.
Every time when you optimize you also decide if it worths or not to continue optimizing. You dont just try to optimize everything. You optimize whatever you believe it can be optimized :)
@@KonstantinosDoulgeridis Makes total sense, it is definitely a more fluid and less concrete process to some degree for sure! Thank You so much for taking the time!! This clarified things and hope others might have had similar question. And A+ overall has less triggers we can pull, looking to diversify into CBO methods a bit more as we also lead out of Feb. I like the idea of more control depending on how election period goes for performance... 🙃
Hello Konstantinos, my CPC increased 10x today at 12 am, are you having issues? The only inconsistency I could find was that the spending on Instagram went to practically zero when in proportion the spending is 70% Instagram and 30% Facebook. Am I the only one?
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some ad accounts still have a limit of 8 Advantage+ campaigns! You can't exceed 8 Advantage+ campaigns across all ad accounts!
