Big shout out to Reidys Home of Music for a first class service, ordered this guitar yesterday and received it this morning. The guitar is Gorgeous and as for the case, I’m sleeping with it tonight lol. Just need to learn to play like you now amazing Thanks!!!
Liking some of these GP models more than others, but I do think Taylor has nailed a sweet spot. I really like how it sounds strummed and also like the clarity of the single note leads.... It's not easy for a builder to find that balance.
Technique can be used to "tone down" too much bottom, but you can't add it if it ain't there. I've heard these strummed hard and it's not a strength. Nice guitars but Ill stick with my D18 and my J45.
It looks like Taylor intends many of their guitars for use in a band where the bass will be provided by a bass. It's a less extreme version of the old Ovation guitar which also had a very high sound. It's strange that they have produced far fewer large guitars at this price point; the Grand Symphony and Orchestra types are only available in the 600 series upwards.
I am not sure if it is simply the selection of play but I am not hearing much low end to the guitar. It's resonance is wonderful mid and treble but I'm not hearing the lower end range balance.
Hello. Does the guitar needs an adjustment to play in open D?. All my songs are in open D, and DGDF#AD too. Or will it be enough, keeping the guitar in the case tuned standard E, and retuned open D only when practising and gigging? Thank you
I am between 317e and 717e? Any help, please? I am a solo band musician. Strumming and singing. All Songs on DADF#AD and DGDF#AD. Wich one would be better?

Love it!
Taylor guitars are my favorite!
I want the 717
Does this guitar have low action and easy to play? Maybe closer to electric....
Great video, that’s my next purchase. Ps what is the tune you played in the middle?
There are a couple played in this. What time is it at?
Reidys Home Of Music Hi, it’s at 6.01 Thanks
@@mrcook2439 It's called "Pride of Petrovar". Glad to hear you're going to go for the Grand Pacific. They're superb guitars! 👍

Do you want the woody brightness of sapele or the metallic overtones from rosewood?
Love it
The body is similar to that of yamaha LL model
No
It´s a lot of money for a back made of sapele...imho
Why do you say that? What do you know about sapele?
What is the price difference between sapele and the other woods being used for construction?
What language are you people speaking?😂😂😂
We're from a magical place called Lancashire. Fully understanding our dialect is reserved for characters from Lord of the Rings 😄
Just slow it down you will get 80 % English spoken in England and Ireland may sound like it from mars hundreds of accents in a few hundred kilometre
Waaaayyy too bright for my tastes
Good!!!!! More for us!!!
