"Hi, my name is Lance Mohr and I'm an Apollo Beach real estate agent. I wanted to do this video to give you an overview of Apollo Beach whether you are looking a buying or viewing homes for sale in Apollo Beach, FL. Apollo Beach is located in the south part of Hillsborough County just on the west side of I-75 and it is really a pretty diverse community. You do get some homes and subdivisions built in the 80s that are on the water. A lot of the newer ones were in the boom of the 2000s or maybe 2004. They are continually building even as of right now in 2014. A lot of people who go to Apollo Beach will do it because they want water access. Apollo Beach is really not an area where you are going to have water accessing to go swimming; it is more to get into the Gulf from the bay so they have a lot of deep channels out there depending on where you live.

Of course if you are looking at boating I would check out the tide and how deep it is where you are but it is really diverse. You have homes that are really inexpensive that are older that are really small into multi-million dollar mansions sitting on the bay. Some of them are gated communities; some of them are not gated communities. A lot of people like living in Apollo Beach who have kids maybe in areas like Mirabay. Mirabay looks sort of like a resort; they just have everything you need. They have water slides and little water park areas; they have tennis courts, basketball courts, kayaks, canoes, and they have boating access. Most of the canals are relatively deep water so if you own a boat at 25, 30 feet or even bigger you can get out to the Gulf of Mexico and it is like that in a lot of areas as far as depth wise throughout Apollo Beach..."
