Great vid. again. Thanks for the settings, I'm learning such a lot from you. especially about metal movement when heat applied. Your commentary is top notch, hope your ear infection gets better soon, not pleasant. Cheers.
I'm very impressed with your fabrication skills... your welds look great too, but In my opinion the ability to fabricate something and keep it completely square/level/plum is a much more impressive and rare skill to have. Its just second nature to you
Much respect from a UA Pipefitter and Pipewelder. I enjoyed watching what I love to do. Come join us buddy here in the states! The UA always needs good craftsman.
Mate fantastic video and great fabrication and welding skills. Loved the narration of how it’s all done love the fact you explain it all as your doing it it’s what makes your channel so great 👍👍👍
CALVIN, Look into getting one of the very tapered nozzles for your gun to get into really tight areas.....if they are available. hope this helps , Paul
How much time did you need to do this spool? What is the error tolerance on the length and rotation of the holes on the flange? Is the final measurement performed optoelectronic? 💪👍👊
Hey brother, add German subtitles to your videos. I like to look at them, but I don't understand what you're saying because I don't speak English. I'm doing my master's degree and would like to become self-employed in plant construction and pipeline construction soon. I think your videos are great.
So wish I finished my apprenticeship making oxygen and nitrogen processing plants , working with Philippinos who were gun welders (special class) do U do much tig
Great content ,, as usual. And many thanks for taking the time to make the video content you do , as this must slow you down a lot , and getting paid per weld , its costing you cash ,,, with luck the you tube subs will make up the difference , and maybe in time overtake the loss in revenue.
Hi Calvin, I'm not so great with internet stuff so couldn't figure out how to message you directly. Judging from your accent I'm going with west essex/east london, but could be wrong. I'm a stick welder in the gas industry working in herfordshire and do a fair bit of prefab as well as on site work. Fancy a collaboration?
You mentioned you use pulse mig.. Aint the process you using on that fronius PCS mig? which is a spray and pulse combined? thats just what the arc looks like when you did your cap?
I weld in the field and in the fab shop and let me tell you a lot more skill goes into setting up when your in the fab shop fair enough its difficult welding upside down getting sparks down your ears but you wouldn't fabricate crucial parts in the field just your tie ins
Look into applying to your local union as a steamfitter/pipefitter or welding apprentice. Or try talking to and applying to local mechanical contractors.
