I don't think he wants people to be able to stream his music for free . I'm not sure about that final fact , but Prince is VERY VERY protective of his craft . It's a difficult one. I get wanting 2 get paid 4 your lifetime of work. I can't blame him for that. But I did buy the albums (on tape and CD) I want 2 hear music from, I just lost them over the years. Anyway, ultimately, this was a wise move for Prince. Make em pay for it.
