Hi I was looking at some inspiration to make a Halloween mini and I saw yours I like the gothic look a lot but I can find paper. I really interested in the digital paper printing that they sell on Etsy. I was wondering if you can share with me what type of print you use to print your paper? Please can you sajare with me that I would really be appreciate it thanks 😊
Thank you for asking. The images are from Digital Curio on Etsy. I used the Orange Gothic collection and the Skull Moth collection. There may some others, too but I can’t remember for sure. I have a Cannon printer. It is just a regular printer, takes 8 1/2 x 11 paper, and I use presentation paper I get at my local office store. It is quite expensive but I think for oranges and blacks I need that paper. I do a lot of experimenting when printing my papers to see what settings work best. Please see my Alice in Halloween tutorial. I explain more in that video. It is in my Halloween playlist. 😊
Your book is beautiful, I would of preferred to purchased this paper then the one from Michaels. I don't have a printer but is it possible to go to staples and print them out?
Kris Gaumer I really don’t know. I use a Cannon but I do not have another printer to compare to. I use the Neenah Bristol white paper and I put the setting on my software at high resolution. My printer just prints 8 1/2x11 paper so I also put the setting to 8x 10 and hit the print to page option and I get 8x8 papers with a scaled down design. The digitals are 12x12.
I have a Cannon MG7720. Idk if it is the best printer. I have to test my settings to see what works best for each collection. And the paper you use makes a huge difference as well.
The album is fabulous, I love the way you use the orange and black for a traditional Halloween. Super sweet.
