the reason why Sasuke's theme sounds like it's straight out of a western movie is because he became rogue
I know right? Its pretty obvious, but a lot of people seem so surprised by the connection. Music in anime especially tells a lot about the characters. Especially considering that this piece debuted for Sasuke especially, *specifically* after he killed Orochimaru in episode 133 of Shippuden. The piece is chosen as a way to highlight that this is the point where he turns away from everything. From both the village he left, and the people he left the village for, which is why the piece is so impactful and thus, his theme. The song reflects who he *is* or has become at that moment...
