The generation 2 of the old T-Force Trance Gate. Completely redesigned. With a new enhanced gate sequencer, completly new envelope controlled filter with 12 diffrent filter models, amp/cutoff/resonance envelopes, 2 LFO's, mod matrix.

Exactly what I was looking for! But as soon as I add this effect to a track in Reaper 6 64 bit on Windows it crashes. I hope this info helps you.
Did you already install the Microsoft Visual C++ redist 2015/2017/2019 on your system? These are needed for proper work of the plugin, because it uses some additional more advanced C++ codes.

Just install the version x86 version if you use the 64 bit plugin or the x64 version if you use the 64 bit plugin.

Just tested in Ableton Live 10 and 9 - faders not load with the plugin in 64bit version.You're unable to tweak adsr for cutoff and resonance. But overall very good plugin :)
Yes, on some systems there was a problem showing the faders. A new vesion is online where it is fixed now. Just visit mastrcode-music.de/en/vst-plugins/t-force-trance-gate-2/

Hmmm, just inputting it as an insert effect doesn't work for me. I use Reason 10.2, where it shows up as an effect (shown in the video) as well as an instrument that (I guess) receives midi notes? Do we need to use both to have it working?

It is an insert effect to create rhythmic gate patterns on pads or other sounds. normally it should work fine. And yes, it also can be triggered by MIDI notes. Did you download the latest release? The plugin has 2 modes. Seq mode means it will be triggered by the internal step sequencer. SC mode means it will be triggered by an incoming sidechain signal (any audio Signal connected to the audio inputs 3 & 4) or you can use the Trance Gate 2 Remote Trigger Instrument plugin to trigger the Trance Gate effect by MIDI notes (connect its audio outputs to the Trance Gate's Audio Inputs 3 & 4) It should work fine in Reason. I also use Reason 10.2 and here it works fine without issues. Look if the SC mode is selected. if so, change it to Seq mode to enable the internal sequencer for triggering.
So weird, it worked straight away this time. No idea what I had done wrong the time before.

Sorry. Can't upgrade it. Because i used some 3rd party code modules inside the VST and the original developers don't upgrade them anymore. Especially upgrading to 64 bit is not possile. Because of this i stopped updating it for the future. But i'm planning a completely new similar one which also can be ported to 64 bit.
Even better then :) afaik many of old synthedit modules were left untouched and their devs are no longer active. So yeah it would make sense to build things from ground up, and I'll be more than glad to support you mate ^_^ thx

Maybe. If some of the 3rd party code modules i used will be available for Mac compatibility and if i canfind someone with a Mac where i can test the Mac versions.

You mean like a sidechain noise gate with an audio input signal as the trigger? Or do you mean trigger with a MIDI input signal? A MIDI Trigger is already in progress.
Now sidechain is possible.
