The actual Independence movement started much later. What happened prior was independent small kingdoms trying to liberate from the clutches of East India Company. At that time India was not a single nation. It was united after the British Government took direct control. Tipu was fighting for Mysore, Velu Nachiar for Sivaganga, Queen Lakshmibai for Jhansi & so on. In fact the 1857 sepoy revolt was due to the usage of cow's tallow & pig fat in catridges which was not acceptable for both the Hindu soldiers & Muslim soldiers under the then East India British Army . Once the British withdrew that, the revolt subsided & the funny thing is the majority of British soldiers were Indians. The real fight for united India's independence picked up after the nineteenth century & lot of leaders united under the Congress banner. The world knows about Gandhiji simply because the movement was under his leadership. We know about Abraham Lincoln, because he was the President at the time of the war between north & south US. Unless one search for other leaders in the net we cant know about them, who fought under Lincoln.
Wonder woman is nothing in front of The Queen of Jhansi. She took her baby on her back and the fight against the British army. That is why she is called "The Mardaani".. Kangna you deserve it 💕🤩
Not only that bt she also teached the general women the techniques of fighting in a war and was lead a whole Sena of only women when most of the men of jhansi were killed by British also we don't have to forgot about Jhunki bai who was the Doppelganger of Rani Lakshmibai bai and helped Rani Lakshmibai so many times to not caughted by British and she was died by British soldiers and governers in deception by believing her as real Lakshmi Bai and she were intentionally caughted by British herself so they gonna think that they finally killed Rani Lakshmibai.
She is an epitome of courage and bravery. She fought with her child strapped at the back, plus when she was pregnant. She had the reins of the horse between her teeth and fighting with sword on her both hands.
Sry mam....but plz recheck or confirm about "she was pregnant" cz according to my knowledge it was not possible....cz her husband was dead by then...so plz
She was when Gangadhar Rao was alive. And she fought while being pregnant. The baby died after 4 months of birth so they adopted a son (he was the son of gangadhar's brother) The British refused to recognize him as a hire after the death of the king and thus they tried to take away Jhansi
Yeah i know Britisher passed act called doctor line of lapes under which only true blood successor would be allowed to rule the state not adopted by this law Jhansi didn't have true successor and she lost her first son and after that she was not able to carry a son as her husband was dead by then So they adopted a son and that boy she straped around back and fought the battle
*"What we know about the Independence of India is Gandhi"* EXACTLY! Gandhi was the one who was alive when India got independence before him 1000 of real brave men and women laid their life for the independence. Gandhi's contribution is not even 0.0001% of that sacrifice.
I don't know if you know about her history or not, so I'm gonna share some with you. Manikarnika. Unlike most girls, her childhood was spent with horses and swords and fights. Her name later changed to Laxmi Bai after marrying King Gangadhar Rao of Jhansi at the age of 14. What I know is that she would still sneak out to do what she could against the Britishers while being anonymous. She gave birth to a son who died after 4 months. She adopted a son, the son oft he cousin of the King. The king died later when she was 22 and since the British didn't recognize the adopted sona s the rightful male heir, as per their Doctrine of Lapse, wanted to take away Jhansi. She was a warrior before that too but now she was ignited in the open. She was a leading figure in the 1857 revolt (the first revolt of independence) and as she said in the trailer, she ignited the flame that kept burning until our independence. When the Britsh had sent her the message to give Jhansi to them, she had actually said these words, "Mai apni Jhansi nahi dungi" meaning "I will not surrender my Jhansi". The British said that she was the most dangerous of all indian leaders. She had fought the wars pregnant. She had gone to the wars with her adopted son on her back (as you'd see). It is said that her blows were so hard that they cut the shields in half. In the battle she died, she gave her son to her general to keep him safe(he lived till 1906). And well, the story of her bravery and strength is too long. I cannot fit it here. She fought a warrior She died a warrior She was just 29 when she died in her Jhansi, on her battlefield.
She is like our mother and we respect her she was real so please respect her... i love your reactions but today i felt u gyus was not serious about that video manikarnika was not a simple girl she was queen the brave warrior queen of india...

Guy's, Gandhi is just an hyperbolical figure behind India's struggle for freedom created for uplifting the name of a particular Gandhi family in politics. He is overrated and extremely exaggerated. The real freedom fighters who struggled, fought hard and died for our freedom like Bhagat Singh, Shubash Chandra Bose, Mangal Pandey, warrior queen like Manikarnika & many others were not even included or registered in our historical documents as freedom fighters, instead of these real fighters ppl like Gandhi & Nehru who had no contributions behind India's freedom struggle were included. The documentation of our actual history were distorted by greedy politicians and our historical forefathers for their own profit. Freedom could never be gained by spinning wheels and claiming non-violence (Gandhian principles) & shit. Freedom can only be gained by struggle, fight, war and bloodshed. That's why Bose said, "Give me blood and I will give you freedom." These are the true warriors and freedom fighters. This is the reason why you've never heard of Manikarnika behind India's freedom struggle but heard about Gandhi. Loved your reaction btw. 👍👏
@@shinjaagarwal2656 Yeah. But unfortunately Gandhi & Nehru didn't let it happen anyway. Nehru was so much desperate to be the first PM that he did everything & anything to make it happen & Gandhi vouched for him.
Get your facts checked dude. I won't say anything about your accusations on Nehru or Congress. But please do some research about Gandhi and his works. All these youngsters who read all the pop blogs and have very shallow views on the real side of the freedom movement really bugs me a lot.
@@arunabhchaliha There are two people (and their ideologies) that destroyed India and continues to destroy India: Gandhi and Buddha. We (Indians) should have never been pacifists. We should never show another cheek after getting slapped on one. We should have fought bravely and strongly, of course only to defend ourselves. And anyone who dared to think they could conquer us should've witnessed our power, but also lived to tell the tale of our mercy. Yet, none of that happened and instead we remain as a nation of cowards who still use Gandhi as our leader. As much as I love Gandhi for his ideologies, his thoughts are not meant for India
She was stated as the scariest mutinant by the British itself .She used to carry her child behind her back when she faught. She's a legend. India has been privileged with a lot of beautiful warriors like her, prithviraaj chauhan, chatrapati shivaji and also some of the warriors never lost a battle and died a natural death, they were titled as ' ajay' the ones who can't be defeated.
It is not like Gandhi hasn’t done anything... he was also a major part of our freedom struggle but yes there were others involved and some whose names nobody remembers but that was the beauty of it all because people fought not for recognition but for freedom for the next generation if not theirs
Anubhab no smiles don’t get you freedom but one smile can give u the courage to fight for what is right, it makes you strong, makes you believe. Sometimes all someone needs is a smile. I never said Gandhi was the only person who fought and I definitely didn’t say he is important but he too made an effort and those who tried even the slightest played a part. Gandhi should not be cast aside just because of becoming more important than the others because remember we made him seem like god, he didn’t make himself look like a god.

Very true.you have hit the nail right.More so had Sardar Patel been out first PM,india would have been super power today.Damn Congress .
@@shinjaagarwal2656 Yeah. But unfortunately Gandhi & Nehru didn't let it happen anyway. Nehru was so much desperate to be the first PM that he did everything & anything to make it happen & Gandhi vouched for him.
True bro.. The Indian history is changed by those fuckin nehru family
Gandhi has not done anything for India, It was Bhagat singh, Tilak subhash chandr bose and many more.
@@ayzapandit5468 his efforts was always in a favor of British.
Agree..it was bhagat Singh, Rani laxmibai n many more..Gandhi I also don't believe is the only one but everyone only know gandhi not others who were bravely fought young without fearing their own life.
Her last Battle dress is still in Kolkata. Victoria memorial hall. I got goosebumps every time I see it. We used to read her story in primary school
Thanks for telling ❤️ I will surely go there in future🙏

All everywhere in world, films made on fictional fights on women bravery. But Mother Bharat already have such real brave women fighters who are way beyond fiction. Like Queen of Zhansi Manikarnika, Tarabai, Mother Ahilyabai, Mother Jijau, etc. are all Maratha warriors. There are lot other also there. This why we workship "🚩Mata Kali🚩".
