- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Genesis) All Bosses (No Damage). The game is released in Europe as "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist" and in Japan as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Return of the Shredder". It's a side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the comic book characters the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Boss list:

Okay a few things:
1)So they have Rocksteady but not Bebop? Blasphemy.
2) I love how everyone here are just recycled assets from the original Konami TMNT Beat em up and Turtles in Time, but then they have Tatsu in there, and of course they have to give him an all new sprite and it clashes terribly with the rest of the characters.
3) For that matter, Tatsu? Fucking Tatsu gets in? What, was Mutagen Man busy? Mad Dog McMutt was unavailable?
I played this game only once in my life back in the 90's as a kid and remember fighting Leatherhead. I think I was beating him? Hard to say hahaa
Why weren't there more levels and bosses in this game, I'd have put in 2 or 3 more levels in this game and have Bebop be in one level, Tokka and Rahzar in another level acting as a team and have Slash or Triceraton in another level.
Konami did that with Sunsetriders as well. The SNES version had all the bosses from the arcade while the Genesis had 4 bosses with twice as long levels. That's pretty much what they did with this. Most of the levels from the SNES are here but missing the bosses st the end.
for tatsu, he kept 1 alive so it was easier and tatsu wouldnt summkn more foot soldiers if he killed

If they worked on more bosses I'd definently enjoy this one a lot more, but it has the same bosses аs the snes so I guess it's just not as good, though it's still a good game but it's just kinda mediocre
SNES version is leagues above this. This game isnt bad but it feels like the Walmart version of Turtles in time.

I never knew this game existed until the game historian had it playing on the sega nomad episode. It looks and sounds pretty good for a genesis game. Usually some arcade ports look and sound a little crapish cause of the sound chip and graphics look like glorified 8-bit games. 🤪

It didn't matter when I was a little kid, but anybody else find it a bit disturbing that the bosses explode into nothingness after defeat? Not even robots, but fleshy mutants and humans.

I've made myself to think that this is how power of teleportation works in this game because of the hyperstone.
A really good succesor of turtles in time borowed allot of stuff from the first snes game with good use,i never understand though why the freaking bosses explodes.It is a little stupid since mostly machine enemies should act this way,it would be enough if bosses like leather head just drop down stunned instead making him boom!

Cartridge storage might've been issue.
To give bosses proper "defeated animation", you'd need additional sprites to store for every bosses.

I agree, it wasn't nearly as good as the SNES or Arcade versions. Just something off about the sound quality on The Genesis.

Genesis version sounds awesome and smooth.
It does sound good. However the SNES sound chip in this allowed the game to have a more similar sound (overall, not just the music) to the arcade.
Nintendo-kids think, Nintendo is always better. No matter, if they are right, if it is against SEGA, SONY or MICROSOFT. .... In their point of view, nothing can beat Nintendo. So many cryarounds.

@@neat3468As someone who did beat this game on the hardest setting, with my cousin, it unfortunately was pretty easy, meanwhile, in Turtles in Time, we both Game Over’d once.

The best console version of TMNTIT ...This version had comic book mode and made the TMNT look tuff
Both this game and Turtles in Time had Comic Book mode tho.

Sega has more nice graphics than snes.
Sega Genesis was 32 bit and the SNES was 16 bit. Sega was able to have higher gfx.

this only works for the first Tatsu though. on the rematch, he summons them regardless
