    downside is isolated springs can cause pressure points, bricking your mattress prematurely (this is why they love selling you this)

    Great video i just wonder if a pocket spring mattress also makes u feel the springs less than a usual one? I saw a few of them that don't have to many layers above so i was hoping you feel less pressure with the pocket spring structure

    I experience numbness on my arms, shoulders, back, rear and legs on whichever side I lay on. With my current 8 inch foam mattress I just sink almost down to the wooden base. Any area of my body I lay on with any pressure goes partly numb from sinking into the mattress.
    What kind of spring or hybrid mattress offers the best support to prevent sinking too far, but is still soft enough to not add more pressure causing numbness?
    What other suggestions do you have for finding a mattress supportive enough but not too firm?

    Is it normal to feel slight pops in a pocket spring mattress in certain areas when moving around?

  • @WSOJ3
    @WSOJ3 Рік тому +3

    Pockets springs are purely crap. Bring back the continuous coil springs!
    The biggest issue with independent pocket springs is that your upper back is heavier than your head, so when your back sinks in, the head would not. That creates a non-continuous surface, and all that pressure ends up going to you neck/upper spine. It absolutely destroys your neck.
    Memory foam mattresses have the same issue as well. The continuous coil spring never had that problem as your upper torso sinks in with your head, creating a flat continuous surface and does not leave the pressure on your neck.

      I think the pockets springs are sew , so they will broken because of the weight of the body . The traditional coil springs are really good because their system. I have one mattress coil springs 11 years old in perfect condition to use it.

    • @lukerobinson9646
      @lukerobinson9646 3 місяці тому

      I agree, they are dogshit....Bonnel coil is lowkey a really good feel. Much more give...pocket springs are firm asf, even in a soft tension, and to make them soft they have to add something worse, like Latex or micro coils to keep the material loft high, not so in an open coil....they are just better imo....

  • @gibby7233

    what is the diference between pocket spring and micro spring?

    • @GlencraftLuxuryMattresses
      @GlencraftLuxuryMattresses  3 роки тому

      Micro spring are smaller and can offer very localised support across the body. However they are usually smaller in height so depending on your weight you may want a mattress that has full height pocket springs beneath

    Thanks for explaining, now this is the type of mattress, 🛏️ I prefer, I had read online of the dangerous chemicals ☠️ in foam You can even smell the polyurethane.. 👃.. people need to look up the chemicals 📰 in foam before spending thousands of dollars, 💰 I can recall back in the day they also used raw cotton ☁️ in mattresses that had the bare box coil spring that when you lay down it would squeak, If I could find one like that, and the old pillow cases with blue stripes, stuffed with feathers, 🪶 that you have to get dye cleaned by the cleaner's 😍

    • @I.M.N.L
      @I.M.N.L 4 роки тому

      Luann Leffler it would have the same effect. Imagine if there were more coils on the other side. No difference since only the coils actually in contact feel the pressure. Like say you push a person and they are holding someone’s hand, vs if you pushed someone standing next to another person.

    I need help!! We've went through 3 memory foam mattresses only for me to wake up in terrible pain with my back.. I must have strong support.. We bought a cheap mattress at furniture Liquidators with innerspring and it's so firm I don't wake up with the same kind of pain I do with memory foam, but it's too firm for him..But it is extra extra firm and I'd like to have something that is not memory foam but maybe not quite as firm for my husband and I? Can anyone help Lord have mercy 😣😣😣

      Blue Eyes it sounds like you have had a really bad experience. Before you buy your next mattress I think you need to make sure you choose someone with a 100 night trial and stay away from memory foam as it’s not working for you. Take a look at the mattress builder on the homepage www.glencraft.luxury - it’s a great starting point. My Serta with a single coil spring is the best bed I ever had. I notice his opening conclusion does not match what he says. This is a paid advertisement. Since only individual coils are supporting the person, all the weight is going right there, and not distributed evenly across all the coils. Think about it.
