  • Lyndon Harris came kicking and screaming to the work of forgiveness. As a former priest, he had it all figured out. Until he had to forgive someone. Beginning at the foot of the besieged South Tower of the World Trade Center on the morning of 9/11, Lyndon shares the highs and the devastating lows of his journey to reclaim his life. This talk chronicles Lyndon’s journey from tragedy to transformation through the power of forgiveness. Lyndon Harris is a forgiveness teacher and coach, and inspirational speaker, having offered keynotes and workshops for numerous conferences around the country and around the world. His work at Ground Zero in New York City has been written about widely, including The NY Times, The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, and Time Magazine. His work on a Garden of Forgiveness for Ground Zero in NYC is featured in the award-winning documentary, “The Power of Forgiveness” (Journey Films: 2006). Lyndon is currently working with Stanford’s Dr. Frederic Luskin (Stanford Forgiveness Project) to coordinate a team of researchers, clinicians and educators in the creation of a public information campaign about the public health benefits of forgiveness to bring happiness, resolve conflicts, and live a better, more joyful life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I remember your arrival at Trinity and attending the SPG Anniversary there, where you spoke of your hopes for your new ministry at St. Paul's pre-9/11. God Bless You.
